Hello, this might be a clear and easy topic for many. But for me, the resources are many and everything is messy to an extent, plus I am not yet in Germany to ask surrounding people.

I am an Econometrics Master student and I have been trying my best to understand the whole LSF, Moodle etc Situation but it still is nowhere near clear to me and the time is ticking on course progress etc... So, by any chance if anyone is an Econometrics student as well, could you please help me in a clear manner, and/or have a short zoom call regarding it?

I realize I am asking for a lot but I have truly been navigating this for waay to long, and I have no external help, thank you.

Hi zusammen,

Hi! I'm moving out and looking for someone to take over my room. It's a lease takeover, so you'd sign directly with the landlord. He has already agreed.

• 16 m² room in a 2-person flat, fully renovated in 2024/25
• €400/month rent, plus electricity (including heating and cooling via AC units), internet and the broadcasting fee, split between two
• New kitchen, daylight bathroom, washing machine, bike room
• About 15–20 minutes to TU by bike or public transport
• Available from November 5th, unlimited lease
• One-time €250 to take over my share of the washing machine, dining table and coat rack. Deposit €1.035.

My flatmate is a TU student and would especially welcome someone who started recently, including international students. He's looking for someone tidy and considerate. He doesn't drink and cooks non-vegetarian food.

Hello. I am Studying “Nachhaltige Energiesysteme” in WiSe26/27 in Bachelors. I have a sort of stundenplan where i can know where to go to on what days. Problem is i dont have the Moodle Courses since i havent enrolled in them properly. Profs said to do it through “LSF”, but i cant find my courses there and the website doesnt really tell you directly how to enroll in them. I even went to Study-Advisor for Erstis and they also couldnt help me with finding the courses that i have, which are “Physik für NES”, “Einführung in die Informatik”, “Höhere Mathematik l”, “Grundlagen der Elektrotechnik l” . We tried searching for them in the LSF website per Title Code etc. but it didnt help either. I have contacted 3 ETIT-department E-Mails, but they havent answered. Anybody got advice or can tell me what to do exactly?

Ik it says vorlesungszeit is 12.10.2026 which is tmrw but I don’t know what or where are the lectures, the studendenplan in the TU App is empty and I have an invitation to Signal Iduna park tomorrow aswell so could someone explain to me how that works it’s my first year

Hallo, not here to ask a question, just wanted to appriciate the Come2Campus event that took place today. It was a really interactive even along with the new people that we were able to meet. The faculty in charge (including the buddies) were really corporative. Loved the vibe. 🥰 Hope this message reaches out the people who made it possible.🥰

Hi everyone,

So i have had my application TUD, for master of automation and robotics, applied through Uni assist in the "Inprocessing, recieved" state for ages. The semester is starting in next Monday i believe. What do i do?

Cheers.

Hi everyone,
I’m from Pakistan and I have been admitted to the MSc Data Science at TU Dortmund for Winter Semester 2026/27. My admission is a cross-semester admission into the 3rd semester, and I also have to complete 2 additional bridge courses during my first year.
I applied for my German student visa on 20 June 2026. Based on the current situation, I expect to receive my visa around late November or early December.
I have already completed my enrollment for the current Winter Semester 2026/27.

My concern is about the late arrival:
If I arrive in Dortmund in December, after missing a significant part of the semester, should I still continue with the current semester?

If I cannot attend this semester at all, does my enrollment somehow carry over to the next semester, or would I need to do something with the university?

If TU Dortmund allows late arrival, would it be possible to attend lectures but not register for exams this semester because I would have missed many lectures?

Would not taking exams or missing most of the semester have any impact on my enrollment or blocked account requirements?

Until I arrive in Germany, is there any possibility of attending lectures online or accessing course material remotely?

I would really appreciate it if any current TU Dortmund students, especially Data Science students, could share their experience or advice.
Thanks!

Hi everyone!
I’m starting my M.Sc. Data Science at TU Dortmund University in the Winter Semester 2026/27. I’m already living in Germany and will be starting the program this winter.
I’m wondering if there are any other students here who are also joining M.Sc. Data Science at TU Dortmund in WS 2026/27. I’d love to connect with future classmates before the semester starts! 😊
I’m also a bit unsure about which modules/courses to choose for the 1st semester. If there’s anyone who has already completed 1–2 semesters of the Data Science program, I’d really appreciate any advice on:
- Which modules/courses you would recommend taking in the first semester
- How to plan the workload and ECTS
- Any modules that are particularly challenging or require more preparation
- Things you wish you had known before starting the program
- Any useful resources, tips, or study strategies

Also, is anyone planning to attend the orientation/welcome events for the new Data Science students? If you’re going, it would be nice to connect beforehand and maybe attend together.
If there’s already a WhatsApp/Telegram/Discord group for the Winter 2026/27 Data Science intake, I’d be happy to join as well.
Feel free to comment here or DM me. Looking forward to meeting some future classmates! 😊
Thanks!

Hi everyone! :)
I’ve recently been admitted to the Master’s program in Biopharmaceutical Engineering at TU Dortmund University for the Winter Semester 2026/27, and I’ll be moving to Dortmund soon!
I’m looking for any WhatsApp groups or student communities related to TU Dortmund or Dortmund in general especially groups for international students, Turkish students, or students from my program/related programs.
If you’re in any WhatsApp group like this, or know of one, I’d really appreciate it if you could send me the link, leave it in the comments, or DM me!
It would be really nice to connect with people before moving and maybe meet some fellow students once I’m in Dortmund.

Hello everyone!
I was recently admitted to the M.Sc. Biopharmaceutical Engineering at TU Dortmund for the upcoming winter semester.
I have a Bachelor’s degree from an EU university. Although I am a non-EU citizen, I applied directly through TU Dortmund and did not apply via uni-assist because I hold an EU degree.
I am currently waiting for my enrollment to be completed. I have already submitted everything required and contacted the email address provided on the university website, but I haven’t received any response yet.
I need the certificate of enrollment (Immatrikulationsbescheinigung) to complete some administrative procedures here in Germany, so I was wondering:
Is anyone else currently waiting for their enrollment to be completed?
How long did the process take for you?
Has anyone already received their enrollment certificate?
Also, is there already a WhatsApp/Telegram group or any other group for students starting the Biopharmaceutical Engineering program this semester? If so, I would really appreciate it if you could share it with me.
Thank you!

Hallo zusammen,
