Some visitors from the UK are staying downtown close to City Hall. They have two kids with them that are 10 and 7. Wondering what the ticket situation would be like for tonight’s game. Whether it’s for 2 or 4 together.
 
The last time they were here was in 2011/2012 and I took them to a game and got cheap scalper tickets. Also took them to the Galaxy game at the Dome. We should up early and I told the girl to walk down and say hi to Beckham while he was practicing corners. He heard her accent and turned around and smiled at her so that was a good memory.
 
Any chance there will be scalpers half hour to 45 minutes before the game with tickets for like 10 bucks? I don’t know if they’d even stay the full game considering the weather and not being big soccer fans but rather casual fans. Plus they are trying to pack a lot into their trip. They are also considering dropping a few hundred on Raps tickets tonight but if they feel it’s too pricey I am telling them about the TFC option.
 
Anyone notice if secondary site prices drop rapidly like an hour before game time?

How do you go 2-0 before the half and then go down a THIRD in the first couple minutes of the second half? What are they even saying in the locker room? What is the coaching staff doing while Columbus keeps putting it in the net?

This is literally the best possible lineup we have (I personally think Sallói and Coello should've been on for Morgan and Osorio) and we're absolutely shitting the bed.

Like actually what is the straw that breaks the camels back with Fraser? If he makes it past the end of this season, we've lost the plot.

I know I’m probably gonna get downvoted for this, but Theo Corbeanu is one of the worst wingers I’ve ever seen play. He literally cannot play this sport. He is the epitome of a Canadian soccer. You can make it if you’re really, really fast and strong. Watching him with the ball is like eating glass. I don’t care if you can get around six players with your speed if you can’t cross the fucking ball or shoot, there’s no point in you being on this team or even being a professional soccer player.

Almost every single game, he kicks the ball out of fucking bounds, I’m not exaggerating when I say this, but literally people 4th division on my men’s team can cross a ball way better than he can.

The reason why I say he’s like oso is because people just forget every time he makes one good pass. We think he’s this incredible player when he literally completes a single pass. He should be completing six or seven passes a game. Our striker is starving and he gets maybe one chance a game.

I feel like I started to see the flaws in Oso’s game in 2019 and we all kinda forgot because he would bang in a goal here and there.

We need to call this garbage what it is. Not professional soccer level.

I don’t mean to be so harsh on him, but he does get the offense going but going to nowhere. I know we have other issues but let’s not pretend that he has this awesome winger.

Are people still available to meet the players coming into BMO Field at the North-West entrance still near Gate 4?

You can choose either a blanket or a scarf. The scarf also looks like it's that thin cheap plastic stuff and not suitable for the winter matches.

Toronto FC are still in the playoff conversation mathematically but the remaining schedule makes it just not very enticing. TFC's 3–3 draw against Orlando yesterday means they missed the chance to pick up all three points at home. Their remaining matches include:

• Oct. 17: @ New York Red Bulls
• Oct. 24: @ Columbus Crew
• Oct. 28: vs. D.C. United
• Nov. 1: @ Atlanta United
• Nov. 7: @ Philadelphia Union

Only one home game in the last 5. Rough.

The latest table put Toronto on 33 points. FC Cincinnati occupy ninth place, the final playoff position, on 36 points in the latest standings snapshot. That means TFC are chasing at least a three-point gap in the last 5 games. Ideally four wins from five.

This is like the 3rd straight season that its ends like this.
