Hi all,
UPDATE #3: Sadly my pregnancy ended up as an ectopic. During the ultrasound 06/25 (today) there was high suspicion my right fallopian tube had ruptured. OB advised to immediately go to the ER and was prepped for emergency surgery. I sadly lost the pregnancy and my right fallopian tube. My main symptom was a stabbing pain on my right lower back, close to my hip. Pain started late afternoon (felt like muscle pain) and went away last night but came back this morning with dark red bleeding (not soaking up a pad). As the hours went the center area of my uterus was in pain, tender, etc. This was honestly an emotional nerve wrecking journey for my husband and I. Iām devastated my first pregnancy ended like this. Additionally it was my first time ever having major surgery. My heart is broken but Iām trying to take this slowly. Thank you reddit for all the responses and made me more hyper aware of what was potentially going on with my body
UPDATE #2: Ultrasound scheduled for June 25
June 18th - 318 HCG
June 20th - 768 HCG
June 22nd - 1757 HCG
UPDATE: First I want to say thank you SO much to everyone who responded. Reading everyoneās experience was insightful and Iām so sorry for anyone who has gone through an ectopic pregnancy. After seeing some of the responses I was getting really worried, so I called my OB office this morning and expressed concerns about my symptoms. They advised me to go to the ER today to get my beta-HCG checked, and an abdominal and transvaginal ultrasound. I went to the ER and they didnāt find anything in my fallopian tubes or uterus, so currently there is no ectopic but itās not definitively ruled out either since it might just be early. My HCG is around 318 as well. I spoke with my OB afterwards and they requested I get a repeat HCG in 2 days, and another in 4 days to monitor. I have another ultrasound appointment in a week. So TBD, lāll just have to wait and see how this progresses.
Thank you all! I appreciate the responses so much, it pushed me to call back and make sure they acknowledged my concerns and didnāt leave me hanging.
Not sure if this is the best place to post, but Iām experiencing a very odd situation and hoping to get some insight if anyone experienced something similar. If I need to post this somewhere else let me know , sorry if wrong place.
My husband and I have been trying for 2 cycles so far and this last cycle I was using Inito to track my ovulation. Based on Inito I ovulated on May 27. My progesterone successfully rose May 31, but all of my pregnancy tests were negative. However I was having brown spotting around June 6-9 (10-13 DPO) which was unusual for me as I never really spot before my period. I stopped testing June 10 (13 DPO) and gave up this cycle because what appeared to be my regular period started. The last day of my period was June 14 (5 days). I started tracking again using Inito and Clearblue on June 15 and detected a LH surge (clearblue) and yesterday June 16 (Inito) which was odd for it to be detecting it this early In my cycle.
So I thought let me just do a quick pregnancy test honeslty wasnāt expecting anything. Then bam a very positive pregnancy test. I believe Iām probably 20 DPO at this point. I called my OB office right away, explained the situation and have my first appointment next week and an ultrasound around my 8 week mark in July. They didnāt seem concerned by my situation over the phone.
However, Iām still lightly brown spotting and have some very mild cramps but it ended up going away for now.
Has anyone gone through this? Iām debating about calling back tomorrow morning when they open and ask for blood work to be done. Anything specific I should ask for? Iām fearful this could be ectopic but maybe Iām just mistaken? Iām scared to be happy about this positive pregnant result.
Thank you so much in advance as this is all very new to me.
