HPT - Other Is this test invalid? Cvs advanced one step - period should be starting soon - dpo unknown

Sorry for the pee in the pic. I'm taking another test in the morning but I'm dying to get another opinion on this. I'm 32 and have been trying for over a year now, so trying to not get my hopes up with those diagonal lines going on 😭 the pregnancy line came up almost immediately but I couldn't pee much this morning for some reason so maybe that's why it appeared wonky like that? Thank you guys

That is wild. Literally never seen than before and no idea how it could happen.
Unfortunately anything odd looking is invalid, you’ll need to take another test to know for sure. Pink dye brands are much better and easier to read. Good luck 🤞🏻

Yeah I was probably sleepy when I did this and messed it up somehow. I have a pink dye first response test I'm going to try in the morning, thank you for the response and honesty! ❤️

This is so weird, it looks like the test paper was put in tilted or something. It seems like it could be positive but I wouldn’t trust a janky looking test like this lol

True, that's why I've been going through the motions all day of not knowing 😂 thank you! I'll update tomorrow with what I get whether it's what I want or not in case it might help anyone else in the same situation

Very odd but could be positive! Take a pink dye test asap. The line is pretty dark so you shouldn’t need FMU to get another line on another test if it is positive

It can't be both positive and invalid, that's an oxymoron. An invalid test is invalid, it cannot give a positive result by definition on account of being invalid.

I think the point was it looks like it should be positive but is technically invalid. Don’t think the technical clarification was necessary.

The control line is also crooked so I personally want to say positive, but retest. The reading strip inside is probably just a little off

All lines are tilted lol. Let us know but to me it’s positive with just a bad manufacturing lol.

I'd ask for a free replacement because that's a manufacturer error lol probably still positive but retest

I think when this happens they just manufactured it off kilter. The control line is there to test that it's working. I would retest, but be hopeful.
