I FINALLY PIRATED ON THE STEAM DECK FOR THE FIRST TIME AND IT'S SO EASY AND I AM SO HAPPY

I’m dumb lol. Trying to download a cracked version of Watch Dogs 2 to play on my Deck. I have the Steam version and it is so annoying cuz it goes through the Ubisoft Connect launcher AND requires internet cuz of it (even tho it’s an offline game). If I don’t have internet then Ubisoft launcher won’t boot and I can’t open the game…anyways anyone have any ideas for how to download a cracked version fast? Downloading normally takes way too long for some reason but meanwhile downloading from Steam only takes way less time. Sorry I’m a noob

I’m using a repack with the Linux app image. The latest patch is applied. I cannot get past the Poseidon horse it gets to the second flip and no amount of hits let me progress. Anyone else dealing with this or anything I can change in the setting?

Has anyone actually got this to work? I’ve only seen one person say it is working

Honestly, the Steam decks capabilities and the modding community keep impressing me. A couple of years ago I soft modded my wiiu and unfortunately had to sell it. I've been having a nostalgic craving lately to play some of the games that I used to play on the wiiu but always struggles with the gamepad implementation. Today I discovered that the Steam Deck serves as a perfect wiiu gamepad.

Any other recommendations that I should play?

I have the artifact bypass of final fantasy resonance on my steam deck. I used lua tools to add the game and applied the crack. When I switched the voiceover to Japanese it just get stuck on the square enix logo. Anyway to run it?

Edit: I am stupid and haven't tried everything. Solved my issue using Proton experimental for linuwux runtime and switching back to latest cachy os Proton

I’ve dowloaded, unzipped and added as non steam game as I do with virtually all other games but on launching it says “steam initialization failed”

I'm running SuperMedo 0.3.9 version and controls do not work on the Steam Deck. Any fix for this I've tried disabling Steam Input but nothing. In the launcher it says it detects the Steam Deck controls.

Been trying to get the sims 3 working on my steamdeck w controller support in handheld and its been very difficult, tried fitgirl, linux repacks, lutris and others and none worked for me. So its got me wondering...is it possible to buy the base game and pirate the expansion and packs? Can someone weigh in on this? If you have any ideas how to even fully pirate it please feel free to share in the comments!

Trying to get FitGirl's Hypervisor repack of Sonic Racing Crossworlds to work. I got the DenuvOwO version of Proton, and HV Decky, but I get this error. Do I manually change the hash in reflex.ini or smth?

Tried adding games via luatools, now after adding it and clicking install this thing pops up? Any idea how to fix this? Sorry for my noob question

UPDATE:

i manage to run the game now with enabling UMIP

1. Open the Konsole app.
2. Open your GRUB configuration file by typing:

sudo nano /etc/default/grub

1. Enter your admin password if prompted.
   
2. Use your arrow keys to find the line that starts with GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=.
   
3. Inside the quotation marks, find and delete clearcpuid=umip (or clearcpuid=514). Leave the rest of the text inside the quotes exactly as it was.
   
4. Save and exit by pressing Ctrl + O, then Enter, then Ctrl + X.
   
5. Update your system configuration by running:

sudo update-grub

1. Restart your Steam Deck. UMIP will now be re-enabled

used WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winmm=n,b;lsteamclient=d" %command% and GE-Proton11-11 and the game runs
