Poster from the original black LP soundtrack in all its chaotic glory.

No ANH in the title.

Highly recommend if performing in a city near you!

Yeah, there’s some iconic and arguably better single pieces in the original trilogy, but you can listen to the Prequel OST as a whole. I love elements of the OT music, but skip much of it.

Padme’s Ruminations, Confrontation with Count Dooku, Anakin’s Dark Deeds, Across the Stars, Duel of the Fates... so much variation and progression with the music.

And I find the sequels music just falls flat apart from the odd moment, which is just a symptom of the wobbly storytelling, in my opinion. Though I do love the Jedi Steps music and feel like it will become iconic in time.

Palpatine: "Vader! I am your master!"

Darth Vader: "Darth Vader's master! But not Anakin Skywalker's!"

―Darth Vader, to Emperor Palpatine before casting him down the Death Star II's reactor core shaft

That is such a sick line. You can listen to the entire Return of the Jedi Radio Drama here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIselOWCxVw&feature=youtu.be

Rogue One is my favorite of the new movies, but aside from that, I really enjoyed the soundtrack, moreso than I did for the sequels. I really enjoyed the new motifs introduced by Michael Giacchino. Jyn Erso/Hope theme and pretty much all of the music of the third act, as well as the Guardians of the Whills theme really stood out to me. It's strange to me that this soundtrack isn't more beloved. Thoughts?

Switched out the music since I always thought imperial March suits Vader in a entrance like this.
