Post it in r/Sourdough and they'll rant about how dense the crumb is.

I thought this was r/Breadit at first and was preparing to listen to debates about crumb structure…nope! Just a nice simulation.

Actually the end is at r/insecttorture

Edit : Sorry boys, to get the end of reddit, take a left pass r/NiggerTrannyCock and walk into r/sounding. I hear they have nice headphones.

Actually, that's where it starts...

This is where the fun porn begins

Just for you: I think that it looks a bit sponge-like or foamy - like the lift was given by egg whites like in an angel food cake or something, not the elastic chewiness of well developed gluten. Overall 7/10 crumb, 9/10 simulation.

I would agree! Perhaps enriched dough? Lol but yes very nice simulation

Achuallyyyyy due to the rising temp and humidity of sourdough is should not have a crumb this dense. In this essay I will....

7

u/[deleted] May 30 '19

It really shouldn't though.

9

u/AerodynamicMelon May 30 '19

The crumb should be however dense the baker wants it to be.

u/something224 May 30 '19

You a . . . You were not kidding.

Hey, hipsters are an endangered species.

3

u/SenseiChau May 31 '19

Aside from the dense crumb that crust might be too soft

Enjoy eating your B A C T E R I A

and disgusting San Francisco F A R T G A S

Though, to be fair, my girlfriend enjoys sourdough, and she's all kinds of alright. One time I went to chow down on some delicious baguette and had to ask her if the bread somehow went rancid or some such. Turns out, instead of buying a delicious artisanal rustic French loaf, she had gotten - you guessed it - a disgusting S O U R D O N ' T

It took every ounce of my magnanimity to forgive her.
