I skipped the festival route and opted to release it directly on youtube, sometime it feels like there's too much gatekeeping around shorts, so I just wanted people to see it and enjoy it (hopefully). Would really love to get your impressions on this!

RURAL SAFE INITIATIVE
Community safety bulletin

 Threat:  “Messengers”
Release date: 06/14/2014
Classification: Public

 Summary:
In recent weeks, RSI has recorded an unusual increase in reports concerning entities known as “Messengers.”

These manifestations appear as flickering humanoid silhouettes, most often in rural and peripheral areas, with higher frequency during nighttime hours and in close proximity to family residences.

 Incident pattern:

• “Messengers” typically appear hours or days before home intrusion incidents.
• Such intrusions have culminated in the disappearance of mothers and children from the household.
• Every confirmed victim shared a common background: families who had recently relocated from urban centers to rural, traditionally conservative communities.

 Assessment and public warning:
Contrary to popular belief, preliminary findings indicate that “Messengers” are not the actual threat. Evidence suggests their presence may be an attempt to warn before the real attack occurs, rather than being the cause of it.

This pattern raises troubling questions about who or what is behind the aggressions and why they appear to systematically target families who have chosen to leave the major cities.

 Rural Safe Initiative recommendations:

1. Do not panic at the sighting of a “Messenger,” but immediately enact precautionary measures.

2. Maintain constant contact with neighbors and local support networks.

3. Report sightings to 977 – Rural Emergency Line.

4. Avoid staying outdoors at night without company.

5. Record and back up any unusual activity, storing copies offsite.

 Conclusion:
RSI urges all rural communities to remain united and vigilant. The apparent targeting of families seeking life outside the metropolitan grid cannot be ignored.

Safety begins with information and neighbor-to-neighbor cooperation.

This is what happens when you make fun of trick or treating

I made a found footage short film as my first ever horror short. Not perfect but I’m still learning the entire process from camera and audio through the editing process.

Happy Early Halloween, everyone!

Oh no! Evil buddy!

Buckle up for this one. 🫨 it’s DARK. Hope you all enjoy it as much as it was to make it. 🎬

On Halloween night, Michael Myers escapes into a quiet neighborhood after fleeing Smith’s Grove Sanitarium. As the streets fall silent, Beatriz becomes his target in a relentless pursuit.

I wanted to make a Michael Myers short film, so my friends and I worked on it in just two weeks before Halloween.

// Shot on October 17, 18, and 19th. \\

// Edited in three days. \\

I did this short with my daughter for a horror accountability group I was a part of. It was a lot of fun to see it with people in a film festival setting and now I’m trying to share it online! Let me know what you think!

Made this silly majigger for Halloween. 🧟‍♂️

A short film I did for school. Hopefully it's cool, it's my love letter to the genre!

LAST DAY AT CARGILL — Two cousins with family ties to the abandoned Cargill Grain Elevator in Buffalo, NY, set out to create an informative documentary about the dangers of the structure, particularly following the recent death of a local 22-year-old who lost his life attempting to climb it. However, the documentary takes a sudden turn, triggering vivid flashbacks in one of the cousins to past trauma at Cargill.

My cousin worked unbelievably hard at this editing this for 7 months. Please check it out if you think it sounds interesting, thank you.

ZERO A.I. was used in the making of this film in any way shape or form.

Hey everyone! I recently completed, edited, and scored my psychological horror short film titled "The Other Room" under my indie banner, Dark Frame Studios.

The story follows a chilling psychological descent when a simple task inside a house turns uncanny, blending eerie atmosphere with sound design.

Check it out and let me know your thoughts on the pacing and horror elements!
