I am planning a trip to Rajasthan from Mumbai. I have been to Rajasthan before and visited Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Udaipur during that trip. Now I want to do the places I left out last time. I am giving my itinerary here. Please give your suggestions. Would also like to know about less popular tourist towns in Rajasthan (Bundi for eg.) which are worth visiting. I am visiting with my mother and we will be travelling by a rented car.

D2, D3 - Sightseeing

D4, D5 - Jodhpur

D6, D7 - Bikaner

D8, D9 - Jaisalmer

D10, D11,D12 - Udaipur

D13, D14 - Chittorgarh

D15 - Return flight from Jaipur

राजस्थान से पूछो ❁ Ask Rajasthan Seeking honest feedback on Shubhashish Homes / JK Jajoo Projects (e.g., Shubhashish Geeta, Prakash)

• Upvotes

Khamma Ghani ! I am looking to buy a residential property from Shubhashish Homes (JK Jajoo Ventures). Since they are an established name in Jaipur, Rajasthan but are relatively new to my target market, I wanted to reach out to the Jaipur community to get some real, unfiltered ground feedback before making a massive financial commitment.

If you are an owner, tenant, or have closely looked at their completed projects like Shubhashish Geeta (Mansarovar Extension), Shubhashish Prakash, or any of their newer developments, could you please share your experience?

Specifically, I am trying to figure out:

  1. Construction Quality: How is the actual structural quality, plumbing, and finishing after a few years of possession? Do they deliver what they showcase in the sample houses?
  2. Maintenance & Amenities: They heavily market the "resort-style/eco-luxury" living with dense green cover and water bodies. Does their maintenance vendor actually keep up the landscaping, pools, and common areas well over time, or does it degrade?
  3. Hidden Issues: Are there any consistent issues with water logging, sewage management, or electricity backup that buyers should look out for?
  4. Timelines & Legality: Do they stick to their promised RERA delivery timelines, and is their paperwork and documentation transparent?

Would you recommend them as a reliable, premium developer, or do you think they charge an unnecessary brand premium compared to other local builders?

चर्चा ❁ Discussion Not even a basic necessity?

So i was born and grown up in tamilnadu . My roots are from a tiny village of jalore i often visit there like once or twice in a year . I'm grateful for my roots and it's culture. But one thing which i noticed recently was the pale taste of drinking water in the region of jalore. Although I've drunk the same water since childhood but never noticed it . Now when i noticed it i did a little research on it and found it that once a budget of around 200cr was passed for this but it never actually helped the poor locals to get to drink normal water which is a basic human necessity and i think it's because of the corrupted bureaucrats and the local politician . And the one who's the most responsible for this cause is THE AAM ADMI. They never question about it they've forgotten that a good level of TDS water is there basic right which they dont even consider to be corrected.

What's your view on this ?

राजस्थान से पूछो ❁ Ask Rajasthan Are trains reliable in Rajasthan during the Christmas–New Year week?

We’re planning a Rajasthan trip from December 26 to January 1, covering Jaipur, Jaisalmer and Jodhpur.

Does anyone have experience travelling by train in Rajasthan during the Christmas–New Year period? Do trains generally run on time, or is there a high chance of delays that could mess up our itinerary?

We’re planning the trip around train timings, so even a few hours of delay could affect our plans.

Would it be better to book trains between cities or opt for buses instead? Which is more reliable during this peak tourist season?

Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated!

सामान्य ❁ General Rajasthani men's mentality scares me (I'm not even a girl)

First of all i would like to tell you I'm also from Rajasthan I was born here in a small town in bikaner district and when i was around 9-10 my family moved to delhi (I'm 22btw) but i do visit my hometown 1-2 months every year and somehow i was never a fit among the guys of my age here. And sometimes when i do try to sit with them I try to engage in conversations. I've always found them to be super ignorant about other people and especially women. (I'm not really a big feminist type of a guy or anything) And honestly it's scary how they think and would just say things that I can't even say here. And I've realised I don't need to fit here because I can't be one of them even if i want to. And the reason i think is primarily poor education. Now here's the interesting part according to their own standards they're well Read, have been practicing for competitive exams and finished their degrees and for them that's the only meaning of education but doesn't have basic etiquette, empathy and respect. And i don't know what's the solution. But i hope one day people change and look into themselves and develop some basic empathy.
