Hi Reddit,

I’ve become recently interested with pirate radio. Specifically, the Voice of Peace when it was a ship in Israel between 1988 and 1993. Would anybody have recordings of it?

p.s. It’s also some family history as my great grandfather presented on the voice of peace, as far as I know he would present the late night affair. If I could even get some recordings of him on it that would be great!

obligatory I don't use reddit super often but am vaguely aware that there are rules about how to structure a post? anyways like the title says, a friend and i have become interested in starting a small pirate fm radio station. I believe we need the fm transmitter and a way to play the audio? but honestly I don't know the setup process and how to start and any warnings that I should heed. I've tried asking people directly but that obviously doesn't turn out super well. if there is any sort of masterdoc with a rundown of everything or well known resource anyone could point me to that would be cool? we're both broke students and would prefer not to spend over a couple hundred bucks on it all. I'm not totally technologically inept and can follow instructions decently but have no real instructions. thank you :-)

My country doesn’t support NTSC/PAL TV anymore. Sorry if I’m new to this, I barely have any knowledge in circuitry and I have someone helping me. I have had this for almost a year now, only being able to use Radio.

Hello 👋🏻 everyone Yesterday I got an NIORFNIO T50R. Unfortunately the previous owner set an PI Code. Is there a programm out there to change the parameters? Smart Announcer regognize the transmitter but i cant change the PI Code or delete it.

Maybe is there a way to set the transmitter back to the factory settings.

hello all, ive recently been getting into pirate radio having being a dj and into the uk underground rave scene, currently set up a internet radio station to start having some fun but want to move to proper fm transmittion but on a bit of a budget since im a broke music stundent unfortunately, i would like to do it "proper" by building my own to learn as much as i can about working with radio in this fasion but im also open to pre built kit like cheap china built transmitters, whats everyones reccomendations on what to do and how do i go about learning how to choose the correct components and how to assemble them well (if anyone can reccomend me a good kit for around the £60 mark to build a transmitter around the 15 - 30w range (if not more if its possible) that would be greatly appriciated), id like to cover at least 3km and at most at the moment 10km, i was also looking at the st-15b v3 so if anyone has any experience with that chinese model id love to know your setup and how much area you cover, any and all advice would be appriciated so i can do this to the best i can, thankyou,
