Media Can we please use spoiler tag on posts that contain non-anime contenen? Some have been complaining about the mods, but many of the posts here either contain spoilers or are just hate post that no subreddit would tolerate (there’s a reason why "folks" and "circlejerk" subreddits popped up)

4KotA Manga This panel reminded me of that post, how everyone will forgive Lancelot because they believe his choice was justified and that they would have done the same thing themselves, and it seem really right

4KotA Manga Cath will return...

Because why not?

By the time they eventually get to him he'd have purrfected "parthenogenesis" and thus the pseudo-Excaliburs would prove incapable of permanently ending him, although the cast would fail to realize this fact... Then after a few years he'd build up his sorcery power and resurface to torment Meliodas and Elizabeth for revenge... Maybe he does succeed in killing Tristan for dramatic effect🥱

4KotA Manga NAKABA LOCK INNNN

the mods lowk gonna get my ass for posting this a second time but genuinely WHAT is Nakaba writing right now. I’m so confused, beyond confused actually. I genuinely don’t understand the point of killing off Zeldris for a hetslop couple that has met FOUR TIMES as opposed to Gelda and Zeldris who have went through hell and back to only get EIGHTEEN YEARS OF PEACE. Nakaba please put the pen down 🙏 I’m so tired of this unbeatable trope for Lance. It makes his character so circular and boring.

We literally haven’t seen the other 3 knights in 60 years. Is Nakaba forgetting his own storyline? Hello, Percival is the main character, not Lancelot. I don’t even want to begin to imagine how Percy is going to react to the news that his father figure was murdered by his supposed friend.

I’ve been meaning to drop this manga for so long but this was genuinely the final straw. Call me when Zeldris gets revived I guess 😭✌️

Leaks/Spoilers These lines are even more infuriating when you think about what he'd done Spoiler

Now that he killed Zeldris, he should say that to Meli and Percival's face lol

To his mother's face too when Ban ultimately dies

And to his own face in the mirror

And to the relatives of the thousand upon thousand innocent people whose lives he'll ultimately take (looking at those demons in the Abyss)

What an absolutely buffon...

On another note, I always hated that line of his. Coming from someone who, at the time, did not know what loss felt like, I found it rich as f (No, I'm not taking Percy into account, they all knew he was somehow alive but just didn't woke up yet so he still had that hope to see him again)

4KotA Anime Acho irônico o favoritismo pelo Lancelot

Thumbnail

I managed to atleast get this done but it’s lowk just the HD scans of it. Hopefully we can get next weeks chapter early and hopefully I have time to typeset.

4KotA Manga I personally have no intention to defend Lancelot, but...

We need to have a serious discussion as to why Lancelot was so determined on saving Guinevere from Cath back in Chapter 247. A man like him was spouting words of wisdom and logic one second, and then suddenly he ends up making such a risky decision out of nowhere (an action that's pretty much quite unlike him) the next second, transforming him into a near indestructible plus highly controversial antagonist. All this got written down without any proper development or plot points to appropriately justify it, and it genuinely annoys me. While reading the previous chapters, however, I came to a conclusion as to why Nakaba is executing the Chaos Lancelot this way.

So we all know that since Part-1, Guinevere has always been personally opposed to the idea of deliberately altering her future visions, stating that doing so could lead to drastic consequences. We don't exactly know as to how she is so sure of this; we can only speculate that maybe when younger, she herself had tried to change the future once to avert a dangerous crisis, but the aftermath of that possibly had been so serious and grim that she chose not to risk such an attempt by herself ever again, especially considering her delicate constitution and lack of fighting abilities. Whether her judgement regarding the side effects of her ability came from probable past experiences or not is a discussion for another time. What we do know is that said judgement was proven correct the moment we saw Jade (who was originally supposed to remain alive based on Guinevere's visions) losing his life by Macduff's hands during the 4KOTA and their allies' stay in Wolnack. While this matter was casually dismissed by Cath-Arthur back then, it only got marked as the beginning of his own long-fated downfall.

During the timeskip period, Cath-Arthur not only abducted Guinevere's family, but repeatedly used them as leverage to forcibly acquire the knowledge of future events from Guinevere, and this repeated coercion and blackmailing had her mentally cornered and strained to the point where she lost her original headstrong self, leaving her with no choice but to abide by the tyrant's requests. Terrible events and developments have taken place each time Cath-Arthur tried to distort the future in order to benefit himself. And in Part-2, Cath himself was forced to confront the consequences of his actions; not only did he lose his base of operations and followers, but he also lost his own autonomy.

Now coming to Lancelot. As we all know, his third meeting with Guinevere happened prior to Cath-Arthur's battle with the 7DS. Given his mind reading ability, it wouldn't be hard for Lancelot to decode Guinevere's mental state and thoughts, and in turn figure out her discomfort regarding the forced alterations of her visions.

Later, while on their way back to Liones after obtaining the Holy Grail from Merlin in Camelot, the 4KOTA ended up meeting their future children, the KOHG. Not long after all the 4KOTA discovering their children's identities, Cath emerged out of nowhere, having survived the ambush by the 7DS. Lancelot was prepared to kill him then and there, even "borrowing" Tristan's son Ysaÿe's spear for the purpose, but Cath revealed that he had abducted Guinevere as a hostage (besides the fact that he had slaughtered Guinevere's family and most of her countrymen). This was the first time Lancelot was unnerved by something; letting Guinevere, the mother of his son Galahad, die while attempting to kill Cath would mean the erasure of Galahad's existence (which I would say is a valid moral dilemma).

Not only that, there is another reason why Lancelot may have hesitated to launch an attack. If he had eliminated Cath at the cost of Guinevere's life, there would have been even more drastic alterations/distortions to the current version of Guinevere's future visions, which could lead to an even greater catastrophe (assuming if he did ever learn about the side effects of the possible alterations to Guinevere's visions through his mind reading). Thus, seeing no other way out, Lancelot could only opt for the best possible solution given the situation - becoming the host of Cath and his evil will, in exchange for Guinevere's safety.

That being said, the execution of plot points leading up to the Chaos Lancelot story arc still deserves criticism. The age gap between Lancelot and Guinevere is debatable itself, not to mention the number of times they have interacted with each other since their first meeting. There has also been a lack of communication between Lancelot and his fellow Knights of Prophecy with regards to Guinevere (considering her general importance to the plot, her identity as the Princess of Cameliard and her ability should have been common knowledge among the knights). For a long time, Percival, Tristan and Gawain had been unaware of Guinevere's existence, until Lancelot accidentally confessed regarding his "relationship with a certain girl" during their Camelot mission. Chapters 246 and 247 collectively depict the first real "meeting" between Guinevere and the other Knights of Prophecy, though there is hardly any interaction between them. Prior to the Chaos Lancelot incident, only Meliodas, Elizabeth and Ban were aware about Guinevere (though Ban was the only one among the three to have met her personally; he was also able to deduce the nature of her relationship with Lancelot despite the latter having never told him). The repeated praises of Lancelot's strength within the manga is another thing to worry about. Not that I am against glaze, but excessive glaze only makes a character less appealing to the readers. And the way, things are now, Lancelot is currently far from being likeable among fans.

Seven Deadly Sins What would have happened if merlin didn’t overhear about chaos?

Because she would have accepted the proposal from one of the gods

And what’s he has done affected the future so much

Like there wouldn’t be the prophecy of 7ds

No Gawain

Etc what would happen

4KotA Manga How much of the demon realm is actually populated

Post image
34 Upvotes

Zeldris is overall satisfied that lance held out long enough, implying the demons could escape.

But how much of the demon relam is actually populated. At best they were fighting for 30 minutes, so how many could actually get to the abyss in that time.

Is just the surrounding area around the castle we saw, or is there more that lance wiped out cause they are too far.

4KotA Manga What do you think is a missed opportunity in 4koa ?

Like the title said

For me, it would be Nakaba not going deeper in with this whole Carthur propaganda

Like we know there's some diehard in Camelot as per Anne's statement when they wind up in Key's boat, and also those people who were strongly against being saved by the 7ds, not to mention those who knew full well they were leaving inside illusions but stayed anyway

Like, I would have liked to see this in little details, for example when Tristan was undercover as Tantris, what were people saying, what info was he even looking for there etc.

And even those humans who agreed with Carthur statement ("the other races took you away from your people again" thingy), like, we know there's some racists in there. Are they just leaving back in Britannia just like this ? No one 's salty ? No one to seethe about the whole situation ? They just accept everything and go back to leaving like before ? (Talk about quickly grieving)

And this whole war too. Too bad it wasn't more balanced. Tristan could sneek in incognito in Camelot, Lancelot and the other could go full guerilla mode cause no one was strong enough to stop them, people could still have a harvest festival even with whole pieces of Britannia missing... Where were the refugees ? The dead isolated from the world that could get help/get food because of the missing pieces of soil ? The injured and dead from the good guys side ? Liones' holy knight were fighting Chaos knight it seems ? Where ? And the casualties ? Was Arthur this overwhelmed ?

What would be your point ?

4KotA Manga Hears how this will all go down.

  1. The gang is ready to throw hands with chaos lance, ban right beside them just in case. They win but ban dies. But on the plus side Lance doesn't have chaos or the lady of the lake and her power anymore
  2. After everything is said and done everyone is understandably pissed off at lance, so Lance goes back to benwick with gwenevere depressed and ashamed of is actions.
  3. Years later a new threat shows up the four knight need to re group to stand a chance against this new threat, lance is still very depressed but maybe just maybe helping is friends he redeem himself just alittle bit. Plus lance doesnt have the lake to one shot everything anymore but he does have a sacred treasure now to he's atleast the same strength as the others in the group.

This is really the only way I can like lance again. Anyone else think so?
