Best Non-Alcoholic Beers, According to This Subreddit

Last updated: September 23, 2026

Hey y'all,

Here are the top 10 non-alcoholic beers according to this subreddit, computed from 46,141 public comments across 3,451 discussions.

  1. Deschutes Black Butte NA
  2. Busch NA
  3. Deschutes Fresh Squeezed NA IPA
  4. Corona Non-Alcoholic
  5. Guinness 0
  6. Stella Artois Liberte
  7. Deschutes Patagonia Provisions Kernza Lager
  8. Best Day Brewing Kolsch
  9. Best Day Brewing Electro-Lime
  10. Bitburger Drive 0.0%

Full ranking, all 84 beers

Every "best of" list gets backlash lol. So hear me out.

  • Nearly every post and comment on this sub (3,400+ discussions going back years) was captured and fed into a system I built. Literally everything. Fridge shots, beer pics, haul posts. I read it all. It took absolutely forever lmao
  • It's deterministic. AI is not involved in computing scores. Run it again, same list.
  • Every user counts once. A superfan posting 50 times can't push a beer up
  • Beers rank on head-to-heads ("I like X better than Y"), sentiment ("this is amazing"), and how many different people vouch
  • Astroturfing, brand accounts, and shills are detected and discounted
  • Last place does NOT mean bad. Only 84 of 541 beers qualified. It's a best-of list, #84 is still great
  • Wondering why a beer is missing entirely? The page has a lookup that gives you the exact reason
  • Don't like my weighting? There are sliders. Rank it your way. But fair warning, Black Butte is very hard to dethrone
  • And of course, there is a style filter, because you can't really compare stouts to IPAs

The full algorithm and details behind every rank

Really curious to hear everyone's opinion. I'm definitely open to tuning the system if there's anything critical I missed.

Feel free to rip me a new one too, and I'll reply with the data.

Disclosure: I moderate this sub and I built the tool. No brand can pay for placement, and nothing moves a rank but the data.

This was weird. Orange zest, fizzy water, hint of cheap beer flavors. I should have hated it, but it was okay. Definitely situational brew. Probably a good alternate for those who like zero sugar orange sodas but want to avoid the artificial ingredients. Definitely not a "I want a cold beer after a long day" or pair with food brew, though.

Review Once again a cool can doesn’t make a good beer.

I picked this up at Whole Foods in Los Angeles. It’s made in Oceanside (San Diego) but from what I understand their office is in Burbank (LA), so it may not be available in many states. My 6 pack has been less carbonated than almost any other NA beer I have had and the flavor doesn’t stand out in any way. After I have one I don’t want another. Tbh the best part is the can, which I think looks rad.

I give this a 2/5. I won’t buy it again. Has anyone had positive experiences with ‘Easy Does It’?

Review Request: C4 All Hopped Up

Saw a post here a month ago about this beer flavored energy drink being promoted.

Reviews I can find elsewhere say it tastes like beer, but I can't find any reviews from NA enthusiasts.

I'm the target audience for this, my fridge is fully stocked with NAs and energy drinks.

Has anyone tried it?

Athletic Wet Hop IPA - Fruity & Smooth

I’ve been waiting all year, it’s finally fresh hop season! This year’s Athletic Wet Hop features cascade hops and it’s a fantastic beer.

It’s a gorgeous pour - solid head, great lacing (see pics) and crystal clear. A previous review noted a fruity pebbles flavor and that’s right on for me too - I get peach and sweet berry (strawberry?) with a low key creaminess and background herbal note that matches what I expect with fresh hops. Clean finish with a slight tingly hop bite.

The pine, resin and bitterness are all very restrained, especially compared to last year (featured Amarillo hops). That one was a hop bomb with sticky pine dankness. I do miss that a bit here, I just kinda wanted more out of this, but it’s balanced and more approachable this year.

Any other freshies out there? Cheers everyone 🍻

Stocking the new fridge

My old refrigerator crapped out. So while I have a shiny clean new refrigerator I thought I would show my NA shelf. I really like the Sam Adams Hazy.

That’s all. I love seeing Oktoberfest adjacent NA’s. I loved them when I wasn’t sober. I love them still now that I am. And I love when companies remember to include a little something for us too. Plus the can looks awesome.

Review Heineken Ultimate 0

I’ll take the carbs and sugar lol. This doesn’t really have much to offer. I thought it was an interesting concept, given that N.A. beer already has less calories and is healthier than the real stuff. Not sure if there’s a crowd out there asking for something this stripped back.

Tastes a bit flat as well, honestly like very faint hop water. Just bought 1 bottle and happy for that. Feels like those who don’t understand NA beer say “why not just drink water or a soda.” I usually find that comment slightly ignorant. In this case, it’s valid

NA Honey Blonde from Central Waters of WI is absolutely fantastic for this warm weather we have in Chicago. Come stop by Bottles & Cans in the North Center Neighborhood if you're in the area! Solid selection of NAs and you can buy singles! (4109 N Lincoln).

Question What are your guy's favorite non alcoholic beers/drinks?

Hi there!

I'm starting up my own business selling, making, and brewing drinks that are non alcoholic! Technically they're classified as wine since it's just fermented fruit juice, but they're in a bottle and are using only carbonation from the fermentation process. Fizz, flavor, aroma and all.

ANYWAY I wanted to understand what I'm going up against so I purchased some Heineken 0.0, Athletic Brew Co. Run Wild IPA, and some Fentamans.

My opinion, they all taste like dog shit, but I don't drink so I'm trying to take it with a grain of salt, but all I taste is old dry wheat with a wave of bitter. I've drunk many flavorless sparkling waters and that level of bitterness is insane to me. So instead of googling and googling, I'm wanting to ask straight from the source!

What drinks do you recommend I try?
