Picked up my copy of the cd at Hot Topic today and this is in the little booklet, thought it was really cool! Never knew this and have no idea if this credit was in the og. TO BE CLEAR I mean all of the additional credits, not Liza lol

The band has been in the know long enough to know that you can’t just say this out of the blue with nothing behind it. This is, for all intents and purposes -and after 17 years- confirmation that a fifth studio album from MCR is on the way.

MY OFFICIAL PREDICTION: Some of the upcoming shows at the Hollywood Bowl in LA are not billed as LLTBP shows. These shows fall on Halloween. These also fall on the seventh anniversary of the RETURN announcement. MCR have been back in the saddle for seven years now. The numbers are coming together. I officially predict that we will get a new single, or even the album itself, debuted during at least one of the upcoming LA shows.

On Saturday, September 26th, 2026 I received a full lossless copy of the Vampires Will Never Hurt You single. Vampires Will Never Hurt You single is MCR's first ever CD release on May 23rd 2002. Six years ago the user u/FlameFiasco posted that they had the single on this subreddit and after I contacted them I was given a full copy of the single. This single contains a previously unheard rough mix of vampires and another source for two attic demo files apart from the eyeball sampler. I have been doing my best to spread this around the MCR community and have sent it to some influential people in the community but today I'm sending it to everyone in this subreddit.

That show was either performed at or around 9/12 (September twelfth) meaning that this is either just a crazy coincidence or the band has been scheming thier for months. EITHER WAY THE MCR5 TRUTHERS WERE RIGHT

Theyre identical on the poster side, without flipping them over you'd be hard pressed to tell which is which at this distance.

Though on closer look the new one is actually clearer and the sepia is a little more blue than the original. Other than this theyre identical on this side.

Can you tell which of the above is new and which is old? Theres some tells.

This is probably my favorite vinyl variant I own a close second being the killjoy logos danger days reprint, my only complaints are I wish it wasn't an open air case because I had to add my own cover and now it dosent look cool because the flag is covered, and I wish it was the anniversary track list, but beside that this is incredible! The B side being the missile is the the cherry on top! my favorite part of the whole show has been the missile, hell I even went n got a tattoo of one lol
