I bought this gun a few years ago and was told it was a 500 mariner but i think it is way too shiny to be. I can’t find much information on the internet about it. Also it it a nickel finish. What do yall think? Thank you.

How come it’s so hard to get a hold of a 18.5” barrel?

Very upset with my 900 dollar 590 RM. Constant feeding issues. The bolt just slides right over the shell half of the time. Terrible customer service. Infact I'll never buy from Mossberg again. BUT. I was examining the magazine, lip on the left is way higher than the right. I did not do this, it came this way

I actually work the sales, not a regular customer. We don't sell firearms we find to the public and my boss doesn't want them, he let me have it for a crisp $75 along with some other goodies. Estate was a retired Marine so there were quite a few choices of things, some sketchier than others.

Mossberg 500 ATP, seems to date to 1984 from what I found on the serial forums.

18.5" security model, metal heat shield, XS tritium sight, and magpul stock/sling. That's the extent I will do with this as I don't want additional weight. HD/Range use.

I just picked up a shotgun from a friend. It's labeled as a 590. I'm curious on the exact variant. It is a 7 + 1 with an extended barrel 22in. I tried googling it, and I couldn't get an accurate answer.

Working on rebuilding my shotgun collection and started by replacing my 20 inch Maverick. My question is, is it durable enough to pit more money into (Light,Shell carrier, red dot) as a HD/SHTF gun? I will also be doing another Shockwave SBS build with light, dot, etc but I'm not sure if it would be better to spend money on the Maverick or Shockwave first. I did purchase GG&G sling mounts and a fiber bead for the Maverick.

Added a Slate Industries Stop to my Mapgul MOE mlok handguard.

I haven't taken it to the range since that addition, but I feel like it will help with an indexing point for pushing out when shooting, plus pulling back with racking.

Additionally, more of an obstruction to prevent a hand from slipping foward by accident.

Is there a sling setup for something like this that actually makes sense? If I just attach at the front and the stud at the stock it’s only good for “African carry” position?

I haven't been able to find a definitive answer -- can I mount a Holosun EPS or EPS Carry on the optic ready professional series 590a1? would I do it with an adapter or without? is anyone using either of these optics on their 590a1? how do you like it?

Is there a reason why the 990 Aftershock SPX is out of stock everywhere? Wondering if it’s been discontinued or if there is some sort of legislative push or policy that’s resulted in it not being an item that can be sold anymore?

Is the slide assembly for the Mossberg 940 pro compatible with the Mossberg 930 and vice versa?

Was installing a new spring kit and lost the middle trigger pin, mine is a 12 gauge, but can only find 20 gauge online
