Regency Twits is the new project we've got on backerkit. The question is... why?

Backstory. Recently I had been exposed to a *LOT* of this material. Adaptations of Wuthering Heights, Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre... I had hated all of it when forced to read it in school, and somehow my life had thrown me right back in. I spent hours fantasizing about Mr. Darcy getting his face chewed off by revolutionary mutants for being... well, I would say "an arrogant misogynistic racist classist jerk," but really he was just a member of the upper classes during the turn of the 19th century.

I have also been bitten by the Mörk Borg bug, having a stack of the different members of the family staring at me from the shelf.

So I combined the two. Now you have the opportunity to play a character who you not only dislike, but is also a useless idiot with few to no relevant survival skills! Gleefully watch them die in hideous ways, knowing the world is a slightly better place without them! Throw these overstuffed popinjays into your favorite Mörk Borg adventure, they'll love it!

I went and hit up some talented artists I know to help me fill it out, so it's not all public domain and my own ghoulish cartoons. Final page count is looking to be 120, complete with rules to generate a country estate (to die in), as well as an Intrigue mechanic to get all the PCs into the sort of melodrama these books are all about. I know that in the end, noone can stop me to do whatever I want, but I wanted to hear opinions on this.

I'm absolutely new to mörkborg, but I already really love the setting, the vibe, and the light rules. thing is, i am used to DnD and i tend to get attached to characters pretty quickly. while i get that dying in gruesome ways is part of the fun,(and if I can get my group to play i wouldn't really mind) i think about testing mörkborg solo first and i know already that I wouldn't want my character to die as quickly as they do in this world.

would it do injustice to this really cool game to tweak the rules somehow to make dying less likely? i would prefer losing limbs to dying lol. any suggestions on how to do this? or is it sacrilege?

like i said, noone can stop me from playing this game however i want, but i don't want to make things too easy or whatever. opinions appreciated :)

Witch, TV mimic, Castle

I'm wondering if anyone's read or played or run Foul: A Funnel Adventure. I was thinking about picking it up but I haven't read much about it.

Hey everyone! I'm thinking about running a longer MÖRK BORG campaign, but I'm curious how you guys handle long-term play in a system like this.

Since the game is so deadly and has such a strong focus on doom, survival, and a dying world, I'm wondering how you keep a campaign going for more than just a few sessions.

Do you use a connected series of adventures, have an overarching story, or just let the players stumble from one disaster into the next?

I'd love to hear about your experiences, tips, and any published adventures or resources you'd recommend for running a longer campaign!

Is it just me, or were there "Omen tokens" in the Pittrap Shop a few days ago—and now they’ve disappeared? Did I just dream it?

As I recall, they were black, featuring ravens and runes. They were stunning, but I can no longer find them... any ideas where they might be? I’ve been looking for them for a long time...
