So my mom and I went into this store we always go to, and we ended up chatting with one of the girls working there about the biopic.

We mentioned it casually, and she told us she’d actually watched it…not just once, but three times. At this point she was fully obsessed. He’s all over her social media, she can’t get enough of him…honestly same.

She started telling us how she’s basically only been listening to Michael lately, and that he’s the only artist she’s been playing on repeat. She said every shift at work, her entire playlist is just him now.

The funniest part is that when we walked in, I literally said, “I hear Michael,” because the store was playing his music. And she goes, “Yeah…that’s basically all I can listen to right now.”

My mom and I just looked at each other like…yep. She’s been converted.🤣

I just love moments like that where you can literally see Michael mania spreading in real time. It’s so special and truly makes my heart happy. 🥹❤️

I just can't get over this Michael. He looks so sleek! I also love Michael in long curly hair with a ponytail but Michael in short hair was so clean and sleek! And his performances were amazing that night! I always think people don't talk about this look that much.

he looks so cute without all the gel and pins. i love it when he’s performing and it has crazyyy volume from all the moving and sweat. i wish we could’ve seen more of his natural hair, breaks my heart knowing all that he went through w the burns and his self esteem.

eta- i would never call michael’s natural hair messy or unkempt. i just meant unstyled as in no product or his hair isn’t necessarily “done” the way we see. all love!

It was only a quick stop while we were traveling but his star was one of the most popular. There were a lot of children who were dancing and moonwalking nearby. It was so nice to see. 🥹

I'm straight, and I fell in love with a lot of Women. In honesty, the only man I've ever been attracted to was Michael Jackson. Sometimes I wonder about how many guy's feel attracted to him and I often feel like I'm the only one, but I know damn well I'm not the only one. If any way, I've heard both men and women would pass the fuck out in his concerts. He was honestly hot in all his Era's.❤️

I don’t have many friends and those that I do have think I’m too obsessed with Michael Jackson since the movie came out. I’m so thankful for this community and seeing and learning new things about this amazing man who left a permanent footprint on this Earth.

I don’t have anyone to talk to about him and all this and iI miss him so much. Thank you all for being a part of this magical community 🫂

Happy anniversary to Michael’s explosion into his full creative freedom, the album Off the Wall. It was released on August 10, 1979, a few days shy of his 21st birthday.

This album changed my (very young) life when I first listened to it at 8 years old. I’d heard Michael’s singles only from Thriller-History at that point, and l remember sitting right in front of my CD player as Rock With You blasted in my face.
