Garage, Inc The letter Glenn Danzig sent to Cliff Burton granting permission to cover Green Hell.
I found it interesting at least.

For me, it has to be Sabbra Cadabra or Crash Course in Brain Surgery.

Do you think they’ll go in chronological order with Garage Inc or go through studio albums first with St Anger?

It would make a lot of sense, considering that’s an actual Black Sabbath song they’ve covered in the past, and that no one else played it that night. Lamb of God covered Children of the Grave in a single and at the concert, Pantera covered Electric Funeral and Planet Caravan on albums and at the concert, and Guns N’ Roses covered It’s Alright in a live album once. It’s no big deal, Hole in the Sky and Johnny Blade are both amazing songs, glad I was able to hear this live.

What did you think of the cover “Breadfan” from the band Budgie

I think if they do another covers album/EP this should be the album cover it’s a full circle moment.

I feel like almost every cover that comes out now is far far worse than the original. I miss when the cover was either better, or at least still very good.

I recently revisited this stupid song my dad showed me a long time ago. Fucking Disco Duck by Rick Dees. It would be so fucking awesome as a Metallica cover- like funny but I feel like somehow they'd also make it epic.
What songs would you want them to cover?

I’m struggling to think of an artist or band who’s better at playing other people’s songs than them Metallica boys.
Joe Cocker did some good covers, but Metallica have done a shitton of covers and pretty much all of them simultaneously respect the original why also sounding very much like a Metallica song.
What’s your favorite of their covers?

Sitting here on the that green app, and I'm curious what everyone thinks about the Album and what everyone's favorite songs are off the album? For me I have 2 maybe 3. Mercyful Fate, Astronomy and maybe Sabara Cadabra

Personally I’m going with Am I Evil but specifically the time they switched instruments in 1992

With all the new covers under their belt. Do we think Metallica will ever return to the "Garage", and deliver us another blast of covers?
Honestly, a clean Funeral For a Friend/Loves Lies Bleeding would be very much appreciated.
