Hey! I'm a solo metal variety project Distorted Fate. I've been posting on this sub every now and then stuff about my project. Soon, a track I've been working on too long will finally drop. It'll be mostly pretty heavy chugging and depressive power chords type stuff but I attempted writing a solo as well. This is both a promo and me asking what do you think, for anyone who has been writing more melodic and complicated guitar work. Thank you for checking this out and if you're interested in hearing more, ask away and I'll provide a Bandcamp or a pre-save link! Flesh In Insanity by Distorted Fate, releasing Oct. 28.

Yo ! I’m looking for some chill fellas to make some sick stuff with. I’ve got good experience with vocals and some professionally recorded tracks I can show you. Let’s go 🔥

Power Metal Band Looking for a Vocalist (Remote Project)

We are a power metal band based in Japan, currently looking for a vocalist to join our project. However, we are open to singers from anywhere in the world, so location is not a limitation.

Our music is primarily power metal with thrash metal influences, combining powerful melodies, heavy riffs, and an energetic metal sound.

What We Are Looking For

A vocalist who sings confidently in English, preferably a native English speaker.

A singer with a good understanding of metal vocals and the ability to deliver powerful, expressive performances.

A vocalist with a home studio capable of recording high-quality vocals remotely.

Someone reliable, committed, and interested in working on original music.

Looking for a Band Member or a Professional Vocalist

My first preference is to find a vocalist who wants to become a member of the band and collaborate with us on a long-term basis.

However, I am also open to hiring professional vocalists on a freelance basis to record vocals for our songs.

If you are offering your services as a freelance vocalist rather than looking to join the band, please make this clear in your initial message. In that case, please include:

Audio samples or links to videos of your previous work, such as YouTube recordings.

A brief introduction to your vocal style and recording setup.

An estimated price per song or track. A rough estimate is absolutely fine at this stage.

If you are interested, please get in touch and share some examples of your work. I would be happy to hear from you and discuss the project further.

Looking forward to finding the right voice for our music!

Hey everyone,i wanted some feedback on this demo i created,i have been playing guitar for 2 years and this is my first attempt at creating something that resembles a song. It is lacking a solo obviously and for now it doesn’t have bass or vocals because i want to figure out what to do about the guitar and the general structure of the song first before i figure the bass and the vocals. I am creating a solo metal project EP heavily influenced by Trivium’s Ascendancy Era and i want to incorporate other genres like Thrash and Death Metal.

Hello all, I am the lead guitarist/keyboardist and main composer of the Canadian prog metal band called Octavium! Another member of this sub suggested I drop the album here after putting our song "Washed Out/The Purge of Light" with the funky sax solo on another users post asking for original content. This album is packed full of interesting concepts, recurring themes, it includes a hand made fretless guitar in some sections that i built, i also do the baritone/bass vocals in the song "Grieve Your masters" and I also play one of the bass parts in "Washed Out".So without further ado, here is our album Bloodleaf Ritual!

How important is stage/performance aesthetic to you in deciding to give a band a shot? Do you love to see bands get weird, wild, and just have fun with it, or would you rather watch a band get on stage and get straight to the point without a bunch of theatrics?

I've always loved to see bands with high energy, and a strong sense of style/vibe personally, and I wouldn't want to get up onstage and just stand there in an outfit you might just as easily see me in at the grocery store. Greasepaint and leather make sense on a dark stage surrounded by smoke and flashing lights, but looks a little weird in every day life to me, just the way that cargo shorts and a faded band tee looks weird onstage.

Nevertheless, it seems like going all-in splits the crowd with some people eating it up, and others taking one look and deciding you're all glitz and no guts. In the end, most say it really just comes down to if you've got the musical talent to back it up. So when you're at the show and you see someone like me hit the stage with blood, grime, leather, and more are you intrigued to see where this is gonna go, or is that your cue to grab a drink at the bar or check out what's going on on the smoking patio?

Pics for engagement, and if you are the kind of person who fucks with aesthetic or just likes to bully people on the Internet, check out our band The Absent ( https://linktr.ee/theabsentict )

homemade music video... kinda a practice really hoping to make more stuff over the winter, thanks for listening !

Hey, everyone! Been mixing my own stuff and for a couple local bands for a few years now, in the midst of a job crisis so I have more openings! Looking to make some long-term connections here, prices will be better than ever for the next month or two.

Primarily focused on modern metalcore style projects, however, feel free to reach out regarding any adjacent genres!

Further production elements can be talked about as well, don't be shy to ask. Please reach out via Discord if you'd like to get to work!

Hey everyone!

After way way way (way) too long, our band has finally released its first single. It took about 3 years (being in your 30s is hard/annoying) but we have to cherish the small victories I guess.

Anyways, if you're into the whole aggressive punk sort of thing, we'll probably be your jam.

Future releases are more progressive but this one is just straight ahead noise

Hope you enjoy!

We're also on instagram if we continue to impress you, heh:

Idk. We're not huge or anything but I've been feeling the love on a local level lately. However I thought for years this was what I always wanted in terms of social validation but I don't feel any different which is making me feel like numb almost lol. Might delete this post tbh. I feel anxious in indescribable ways and probably shouldn't even dwell on the subject. Thanks for reading if you did though cuz I'm still gonna post anyways if ppl maybe have any input

Idk I just feel like I'm not very social or normal in these "party" type environments which is not great for a musician. I'm the "brains" of the band and important to the whole thing but the other members are much more socially connected and experienced. I'm the type of person who is probably too mindful of other people while my band members are used to having hundreds of acquaintances. I'm not diagnosed but I'm probably just autistic about it. Looking forward to learning from the social challenges that await I guess lol.

Who else has the Olympus Digital Camera from 2006? I have the FE-170 in my video here. It's an amazing camera, I like nature and the movie "The Matrix", because Morpheus is one cool dude! Laurence Fishburne for the win!
