Mafia 3 Police Horde!

Ok so I’ve been back to the game since the 10 years update. Is it normal to have sounds bugs? I’m currently dismantling the downtown area and majority of the sounds just disappear whenever I interac with a message or I only press pause to mark my next objective. I mean no car sounds, no ambiant sound, no footsteps and gunshot are mute.

The only way I’ve worked around it is by pressing the L1 button (I’m playing ps5) but when I « leave » the game by pressing pause or there is a message to be read at the dead drop to steal every sounds except for the car radio goes mute.

I’m currently doing a platrun, playing through the series. I have completed Mafia 1 (fuuuuuuuuuuuck that race), and Mafia 2. Next on the list is Mafia 3, but I see that there’s a fair amount of bugged trophies.

I’m unsure whether it would be best to pkay the Ps4 or the Ps5 version. The guides I’ve found on PSNProfile both say it’s for the PS4 version, but one says the trophies are bugged and the other does not.

Has anyone played it recently, and can tell me what the best course to take here is? I don’t want to start a game and not be able to finish it 😅

So after finishing my first playthrough on the new PS5 version, I immediately started a new game right after the credits finish and it kicks you back to the main menu: as soon as I had control of Lincoln I noticed my maximum carry capacity for the med injectors is 5 instead of the usual 3 and I can carry 6 grenades instead of the usual 4. Then when I grabbed some guns I noticed I can carry more ammo, the crosshair was tighter, and the guns shoot way more stable than default.

So it appears the game retained all the upgrades I bought in my previous playthrough but reduced them down to Level 2 from Level 3; just like it does when you decrease an underbosses earn and lose an upgrade but really it just reverts one level down.

So if anyone wants to play through their game with Level 2 of most of the upgrades, make sure they’re all maxed out at Level 3 before you beat your current playthrough then start a new game right after the credits roll. (Not sure if that last step is required but just in case)

Anybody know of a money glitch or an easy money method?

Am I the only one who doesn‘t get any combat music in Mafia 3 (PS5 version) in „normal missions anymore?

The only missions I get combat music are the missions where I enter the headquarter of an underboss.

I did have combat music all the way until I once put my PS5 in rest mode and later loaded directly back into the game.

Now even when I delete the game and all my game saving files on my PS5 it doesn‘t work anymore. Also tried calling the gun dealer truck and using a brutal beatdown to get the combat music to return. Nothing worked☹️ I don’t know what to do anymore.

Please help me if you know how to fix this bug!🙏

Real quick: I went through a phase of my life where I was obsessed with the Mafia/Mob to the point where I visited the mob museum in downtown Vegas, just a disclaimer 🤗

I think Mafia 1 has the best story (once again my opinion) because it ends very similar to how a lot mob stories end … with someone either dying or turning into an informant against the mob… then being killed by the mob.

However, in regards to M3 being the most mafia style game I mean the way they implement other mobs (Irish, Haitian, black and Italian) and the fight to control the city by taking over their territories. Also every other mafia game ends with the protagonist dying or being ran out of town whereas in M3 you actually rise to the rank of being boss and running the city.

52 hours what a blast highly recommend a replay with the 60 fps update no crashes on the pro.

Hey everyone,

I’m playing the Mafia III PS5 Version, and I wanted to ask if anyone else is experiencing these issues.

First of all, is it normal that it rains so frequently in the game? It feels like it’s raining most of the time, and I rarely get to enjoy clear skies or nice weather. Is this how the weather is supposed to be, or could it be a bug?

Secondly, ever since the latest patch, I’ve noticed that many interiors have become extremely dark. This includes stairwells, garages, and warehouses, especially in the Tickfaw Harbor area. In some places, it’s so dark that I can barely see anything inside.

I don’t remember the interiors being this dark before the patch, so I’m wondering if the update caused a lighting issue or if other PS5 players are experiencing the same thing.

Is anyone else having these issues on PS5, particularly since the latest patch? I’d appreciate any feedback or suggestions.

What's your favorite vehicle to drive/use that Lincoln doesn't own?

Idk if it's my favorite, but the one I seem to always steal and drive is the Lassiter Mamba. There's something about it's profile, and the dark detailed taillights, that just seems to draw me in every time!

Man, what an experience. I love how the story uses racism as a tool to lay out historically what life was like for folks while also giving us a big motivation to set things right. Donovan and Lincoln have an awesome relationship especially in the dlc missions. Father James' internal struggle between being a good Christian and helping Lincoln is also great. It's just overall so much fun. I might need to do a new playthrough right away, just from how much I loved it. Part of me so's sad it's over, but another part is glad that Sammy, Ellis and Danny can rest easy now.

I’m so lost I just gave Burke a second district and it didn’t unlock sooo how do I unlock it?

This is the 4th time since today's update went live that Lincoln started freaking out like this, it didn't happen to me before todays update and force closing or restarting the game fixes it temporarily.
