My 7 year old is absolutely obsessed with this movie. I don't think I've ever seen her fall in love with anything the way she has with this! She already loved Kpop, but this definitely took it to a whole new level and I'm not exaggerating when I say she spends most of her day talking about it, listening to the music, singing the songs and drawing pictures. I can tell this is going to be one of those childhood defining movies for her 💜

I wanted to share some of her art (the fact that she drew the corn absolutely killed me 🤣) and her HAIR! Having a hairstylist mom has its perks 😉

My Rumi cosplay from KPop Demon Hunters.

I’m a 30-year-old guy, and most of the characters I cosplay are pretty muscular, masculine dudes. I’m also into sports, so those kinds of characters usually feel pretty natural for me.

That’s why doing a female character like Rumi was a pretty unusual experiment for me. I wanted to step outside my usual comfort zone and see if I could actually pull off a more feminine character while still staying as close to the original design and proportions as possible.

Definitely something very different from what I normally do, but I’m really happy with how it turned out.

I’ve been trying out the makeup before otakuthon this weekend and I like it a lot so far so I thought I’d share it here since I never see enough Jinu cosplays (but they’re all really cool) 🙏🏻 I’ll make better pictures there and have more lines down the throat, but if anyone knows how I can fix the gat so it stays in place I’ll be very thankful ahah

It was a hit - there were at least five Rumis and two Miras, and my 4yo was a (demon-style) saja boy!

My first tattoo. The movie landed at a very key point in my life. Very excited for this.

My daughter is deep in her Rumi era and couldn’t find any merch that I thought was right for her and that she actually wanted to wear, so I made her this.

She wears it constantly and told me it’s the coolest gift she’s ever gotten — still young enough that mom wins sometimes 😅
