POSSIBLE PLOT:
I would say they could create a plot that begins with Godzilla as Godzillasaurus, then transforming into the monstrous Godzilla (100 meters tall) and destroying a city in Japan.
At that point, biologists and military personnel search for a way to stop him. They then hear about the legend of "the giant," and after an exhaustive search, they manage to find a 98-meter-tall gorilla. This gorilla fights against a giant prehistoric kaiju, and King Kong wins with difficulty.
However, Kong sets his sights on a red-haired girl named Matsuki Kishimoto and is captivated. The girl is initially frightened, horrified by the great ape's appearance and presence, but quickly develops a friendly empathy for Kong.
Nevertheless, biologists capture him, and moments later, Kong awakens in a vast field where Godzilla appears. Kong and Godzilla perceive each other as threats, leading to a fierce battle. Godzilla unleashes his atomic breath for the first time, striking Kong in the shoulder and forcing him to flee towards a mountain.
He collapses, and at that moment, Kong awakens in a kind of laboratory or veterinary clinic, where Matsuki tries to heal him along with a primatologist named Kasaki.
After recovering, Kong, filled with vengeance, goes in search of Godzilla, and when they meet again, the second round begins.
Before the fight, King Kong beats his chest and battles Godzilla, damaging him with several blows. Kong manages to knock Godzilla down by grabbing his tail, but Godzilla doesn't back down. He unleashes his atomic breath, but Kong dodges it and shoves a rock into Godzilla's mouth.
Godzilla spits it out and sends Kong flying with his tail, causing the ape to crash into some rocks. When all seems lost, Kong is struck by several blue lightning bolts from a storm that forms nearby, making him even more powerful. After a tough and intense fight, King Kong and Godzilla fall into a ravine, plunging into the water.
There, Godzilla bites Kong's foot to drag him under, but Kong grabs a rock and hammers Godzilla to break free.
As he succeeds, the military, who were tracking Godzilla, launch missiles at a section of the ravine, causing... As the cave-in begins, Kong sees what's coming and delivers a final blow to Godzilla. Just as Godzilla starts to recharge his atomic breath, the collapse hits him, trapping him.
After freeing himself, he simply leaves. He doesn't die, but he realizes that fighting Kong was a waste of time. However, he also acknowledges the ape's aggression and skill.
When the military personnel, biologists, and especially matsuki and Kasaki see something emerging from the sea, Kong appears, badly wounded and leaking water. In the end, he wins the fight with difficulty and decides to return to his habitat, but not before looking at Matsuki one last time and saying goodbye.

To my knowlage not much is known about the plot exept this.
The movie would have had a modernized expedition to find Kong. When Kong was captured and later monitored by humans he fell in love with a female scientist who was part of the team studying him.
Kong is later deployed or set free to fight Godzilla who's going on a rampage through Japan. In their first battle Godzilla mutilates Kong with his atomic breath leaving him without limbs and on the brink of death.
The scientist who Kong fell in love with would transform him into a cyborg in a desperate attempt to rescue him, giving him new weapons and upgrades to help fight Godzilla.
They would engage in one final battle with Godzilla (but he'd still end up loosing)
Overall I actually really like the idea of the movie tho if I had to add/change one thing it'd be including King Ghidorah, he could have a similar plot to the actual movie and in the end you could have a reluctant team-up where Godzilla and Kong team up against Ghidorah or Mecha Ghidorah, why? Cuz I think it'd be really cool.

This is a series called Crimes Against Nature by Image Comics. It's about an intelligent gorilla and his human friend. This second printing variant cover pays homage to King Kong.

Wow, he's just on a roll! Almost a century old, and he's still just as vibrant as ever! Men want to be him, women want to be with him, as the old saying goes.
Thank you to People for making the right choice once again! It couldn't have gone to a more deserving gorilla!

I love that the "animatronic" life size bust from the original "King Kong" (1933) has been given the horror treatment!

🎬: "Kong: The Animated Series" (2000)

Context: When "Kong: Skull Island" began production, Kong went through various changes until reaching the final result, the one that matters to us being:
the height
However, and unfortunately, Kong's height was reduced to approximately 31.7 meters so that he could interact with the human protagonists without diminishing his colossal size. Nevertheless, Kong ended up being the smallest kaiju when compared to other titans that surpass him in height (not necessarily Godzilla, at 108 meters in the 2014 film).
In some various concept art or designs of Kong, he had a height similar to 100 meters tall, similar to the adult Kong or the Heisei Godzilla (as an additional reference/example) and in others he seems to reach 50 meters in height (similar to the usual Japanese Godzilla that almost all measure 50 meters in height, and exceeds the Showa King Kong by 5 meters more, which measures 45 meters in height)
So...what would its actual and final size be? Well, after doing calculations with the Kong that came out in the final result, Added to this is the size of the helicopter that appears in the film (Bell UH-1 Iroquois) which is 4.4 meters high and 12.7 meters long. I came to the conclusion that:
97 o 100 meters tall
It was literally going to be almost tall enough to face off against the 2014 Godzilla.

In the hype leading up to Dino De Laurentiis and John Guillermin's remake of "King Kong", the press and marketing of the film was in full swing, and one of the most famous examples from the time period is the Time Magazine cover and article that delved into the making of the film.
Did you have an issue issue from when it was originally released?
If you'd like to read the article and others on the film, I highly recommend checking out Hunter Goatley's fantastic website dedicated to Kong '76: https://kong.goatley.com/magazines/Time-1976-10-25/

A nice way to change things up from the usual Rex type Dinosaurs and because Spinosaurus is my favourite Dinosaur
It could be Spinosaurus or a fictional decendent like how in the 2005 film instead of using Tyrannosaurus rex they used a fictional decendent called Vastatosaurus rex
Plus it would be a neat way to reference Godzilla vs King Kong in a film where Kong is at his usual size, cuz yk, giant Ape vs giant semi aquatic Reptile
The art here is by Matt Frank also known as KaijuSamurai online

Without this extraordinary man and his love for gorillas and adventure, we wouldn't have the fantastic character and film of King Kong, and everything that grew out of and was inspired by that property. The art world owes him a very big debt.
Thanks for everything, Mr. Cooper! 🦍
