Okie dokie... Pat looked so depressed after his set, whats really going on here?
Yeah his set was bad to call a spade a spade, but why is he so hard on himself? He might just need a week off

God damn i’m so tired of seeing that old bag ruin the panel with her grandma takes. Large L for Tony to keep bringing her dumbass on

I appreciate randos that suck more than some given spot to a loser reality dude. This show is supposed to be giving nobody's a shot and there's this "pulled out of the bucket"

Ive said it before and I'll say it again, the way Tony gives out golden tickets is so flawed, there have been plenty of guys who have been consistently funny + interesting, which should make them the perfect fit for the show, someone you can reliably book for the episode
But to get a golden ticket you need to shock and surprise Tony, child who is funny? You get a ticket. Funny jew man? You get a ticket. Funny man with Japanese accent? You get a ticket. Brain damage? Lfg you deserve it. Skinny sex offender looking man? You got it. Wrote a shitty children's book + fat + black? Ur getting it my friend.
Is tony assembling the special avengers?
Meanwhile the normal looking guys who have had amazing interviews and funny sets just get a big book. I think Tony should keep his excitement in check and think before giving away golden tickets
Noticw how Redban is a better booker, because all these consistent guys will always get an invite from redban at the end of the interview, so my logic isn't flawed because redban clearly gets it and its aligned with what redban is thinking
I mean it depends, is the point of the golden ticket to give platform to talented guys or circus acts?
Just a feedback tho, his show, his rules

I know they only have one week to create material but this was nearly unwatchable. I don’t think anyone wanted the second joke or the first 4. Gadamn and then a partial standing ovation …. Lmao

People who wait in the bar to get called up, how often do you see this woman at the bar

There’s so much pressure on the guy to be this perfect freak genius comedian, that there’s no room for failure. Dude was performing in dives a year ago. First bucket pull to go from golden ticket to regular to closer, and even closed MSG twice.
Shakespeare wrote a play about this shit. Coriolanus, where Rome worships a war hero and then banishes him the second he lets them down.
Every time, the crowd sets the bar way the fuck too high and then acts betrayed when the guy can't clear it. Just let him tell jokes. No other comedian has this unrealistic pressure to stick a perfect landing in 60 seconds week after week. Typically in a set, you’ve got time to have some highs and lows. Some jokes don’t work, but you pivot into the next.
I’m not some Pat simp but at the same time, you can clearly see the guy is living his dream but how crushing it is on him to even get it slightly wrong. If he’s not getting all 10s, it’s devastating, and that is Ray and Getarded. It’s comedy not a fucking pageant.

Kiss me segment is supposed to be lighthearted fun what he said was just mean for no reason...
Matt Muehling's face was exactly how I felt.
Joe DeRosa shook his head and the crowd boo'd.

Just do the set. Tell a funny story and leave.

Last 4 videos are all under 1k views. Love him or hate him, he was such a huge part of the show for a long time. The fact that uncle Laser has more clout than this guy is incredible. I can't imagine the feeling of sinking back into obscurity after performing in arenas, being an asian icon in comedy (Yang's words)... it's just bad business. Who is this guy's manger? Marketing? Dude could've made funny videos, hopped on tiktok and grew his audience, but it just seems he let it all slip away. He's had great moments on the show, and although he's hit or miss on the being funny part, he had it and now? 500 views a video is crazy.

Imagine explaining to someone what Kill Tony is and having them stumble across this special on Netflix.
I’ve explained it like this: it is the American Idol of comedy. But if you fuck up, you will endure the harshest of roasts from the whole panel. Mostly Tony. 1 out of 25 comedians are actually good. It will easily turn into a show where crackheads can get pulled out of a bucket and turn into complete chaos where anything can happen (which made the show what it is today.)
Then, they tune in to what be the most corporate slop I’ve had to endure. Rosanne, Fluffy, and Rob Schneider praise every single person that comes on stage (whether they deserve it or not) over the same old “stage presence” or “confidence” they regurgitated to everyone. Feeling very insincere of what the show we know and love is.
These specials need to be held at the comedy mothership. They need to see what made the show great, not this positivity you can do it! slop that doesn’t illustrate what makes the show great. End of rant.

While he was bringing out Dr. Phill and the laugh track Indian guy Tony made the point that he had Shane/Tim on and that's what launched their careers despite them being more successful than he was.
Truly an self important embarrassing moment that should be remembered any time Tony acts big.

There has been a rule change and a new rule added.
Previously we did not allow spoilers on the sub. We will now allow them but the post must be tagged as a spoiler.
The new rule that has been added is No AI generated content. Comedy is an art form. AI steals from artists. In support of all artists we are banning AI content on this subreddit.
Also moving forward there is going to be a stricter enforcement of the no low effort rule. Taking a blurry picture of your TV or laptop and posting it on the sub with something like "this guy sucks" is a perfect example of low effort and your post will get removed for it. Here is a perfect example of a low effort post: https://i.imgur.com/V0dDrA0.png
We want to encourage people to use the weekly episode post that get pinned as a place to post these types of things. What I posted above as an example would be a perfectly acceptable comment in that thread. it doesn't need it's own post.
If anyone has any suggestions for changes or new rules, please post them here and we will discuss them.
This post will be pinned until the next episode is posted.

This weeks guests are shit. Dedrick sucks and shouldn’t have regularship. Tony is an egomaniac and not funny and absolutely gay. D Madness is acceptable. The bucket is rigged. All the golden tickets are one minute wonders. Pat is great (for now).
We get it - yet you keep watching weekly and coming back to bitch on this sub.
Stop being a bunch of pussies and attempt to enjoy the show this week for once.
