Chen Ran, WE need you to save us😭✌️.

I can understand how it might work to some extent, because most intelligent characters aren't necessarily immune to attraction or desire. However, SCD characters are fundamentally different from ordinary people.

They have much greater mental strength, are extremely intelligent, and, most importantly, possess levels of self-control and analytical ability that are far beyond normal human standards.

Because of that, I'm not sure how useful seduction would actually be against them.

Sorry, but I genuinely can't imagine Junko simply seducing Kiruma Souichi or Baku, lol. He would probably recognize what she was trying to do and deal with the situation rationally.

Yes, I know these characters are still human and would probably experience asexual urges just like anyone else.

But that doesn't necessarily mean they are incapable of resisting those impulses. If anything, their extreme intelligence would probably give them a much greater ability to recognize, control, and ignore those desires when necessary.

That's why I have a hard time considering seduction a major advantage against mid-to-high-level SCD characters.

For someone at that level, a very simple or obvious attempt at seduction would probably just be another thing for them to notice, analyze, and neutralize.

.And even then, I still can't really imagine how seducing your opponent would actually work that well.

Like:

“Okay, Junko, you showed me your boobs... but we're still playing a deadly game, so can we please continue?”

I know this sounds like a joke, but I'm actually being serious. I genuinely don't understand how this would work.

Seduction is kind of a useless characteristic because most mid- to high-level characters exist, and even if it does work, I don't really see many situations where it would make that much of a difference.

I want to see which horrendously overrated characters you guys believe deserves to be put in their place!

Examples (Random Suggestions):

Chen Ran

Fang Yuan

Sora

Beatrice

Baku

Yumeko

Dazai

Klein

Ayanokouji

Friend

Subaru

Patrick Jane

(Random examples btw I haven't seen all of them)

I've been thinking about this matchup so I'd like to know the opinions of people who have consumed both media. Please state the scaling system you're using if you do use one & if not then please state so. Opinions on the Distribution + Situations would be great as well.

I may or may not have this take so, do y'all agree or disagree, why do you agree or disagree?

Like in methodology or stop-scaling only, Not a Chen Ran Victimizer just smart enough to reach Top tier only.

So, I just finished Minority Rule & Aki is tuff asf ig you can treat this as a continuation of my previous LG related post.

Who do you think takes & what's the diff?

Drop distribution if you can tell.

Not like that means anything lmao, doesn't place him above a high tier but what do y'all think?

I had to add a picture to post

I'll drop my take on PJ vs RJ after I'm done doing some more analysis on RJ but for those who have RJ>PJ, how did you reach this conclusion?

For me, it is probably Naruto.

More precisely Sasuke vs deidara ( or any sasuke fights/shikamaru vs temari).

I was a kid but that peak impacted my love for fiction so much brah.

I spent days just reliving those moments by imagining them. (To the point I couldnt even focus in class and still do 😭).

But Hisoka vs Chrollo is probably the first REAL Scd type of arc I had read in my life (when I was 13 prolly).

I would love to know if you had the same life experience as me.

Or was your Journey even more BIZZARE ?

I've been into SCD for years now. But never browsed this subreddit untill recently. I was convinced for a year that fang yuan is the undisputable goat. But seems that like chinese version of the scp verse there are chinese SCD also. There are several fy victimizers-

My question is, who is the overall best smartest character in fiction? As of june 2026? Please lemme know

Every argument I have seen so far has been horribly debunked. What's left?

(Image slightly unrelated since I find Canon Moriarty to be the scariest in this but RJ is 2nd)

Serious question.

I have not read the ln but based of what ive heard he isnt that impresive.

Ive only seen the anime where again he doesnt do much but i assume yall only scale the ln.

I have alse seen mixed opinions on him so how smart is he actually?

I've seen this character get both inflated and downplayed in many posts. I can understand why. Most of her scaling and feats are more lore-based and implicit than concrete, which disappoints some people.

Still, I don't think that undermines how good Arisu is as a character or how well she can be used in matchups.

So, where would you rank her overall in SCD, and why?

Name them in the comments. Which fodder has been receiving too much hype lately and deserves to be put in their place?

(ignore the images, you can name whoever you want)
