Anyone surprised that COTE characters who can't handle a dose of real psychological warfare are that low?

Explanations for some ones people might find issue with.

Subaru - Go watch the first 3 seasons, and know it just gets worse.

Fang Yuan - Skinned his entire skin by himself, no sedatives. From scalp to foot. Many other feats but that first comes to mind

Batman/Joker - Pretty sure Batman has been tortured in every way possible or something.

Akiyama - Sold away his genius to destroy a company then served 5 years in prison with his reputation ruined, a fact even his teacher comments dismay on. Was gonna accumulate the debt of everyone in Liar Game and take all of their punishment in the black market/be killed or enslaved for life.

Only covered series I feel I have enough knowledge on.

Edit: Tokuchi should be higher, Kiruma should be higher, Fang Yuan could be higher, Ayanokoji......you thought lol 😂

I´ve come across this tier list in some random subreddit and wondered if it´s actually correct. From my perspective, it is based on outsmarting and reasoning, but i´m not really sure if i am right.Since i´m a newcomer and recently started researching cats and subcats as well as character analysis i can´t really tell if this tier list is right or wrong. It would be interesting if this turned out to be utter garbage.

Most characters have only their standard canon versions, except L with canon L and CTW L, as there is a huge gap between them.

Tiering System: Since this is the top 7, all characters in the list will be Top Tiers, Top Tiers are divided by Stars represented as "+", each + having a High Diff gap. (Lowest position in the lower star gets High diffed by the lowest position in the higher star)

We don't have an agreed terminology for the tiering for now.

Top 1: Pun Yunchuan [ The Demon World I Designed ]

Character Type: Planning Merchant

(the biggest reason he is kept in the list is to serve as a reference point, apart from that, half in my group doesn't recognize him as Top 1)

Top 2: Mu Zixuan [ Court of Sword-treading ]

Character Type: Elegant Schemer.

He is one of the characters whose schemes are like brilliant music.

Top 3: Mo Tan [ Quadruple Split ]

He is like Chen Ran.

Only Morningz read him, but most of us trust him with this take for now. Don't recommend people to read this unless they want to sacrifice themselves, since only Morningz scaled him to the latest chapters right now...

He is only good in scheming related categories, so scaling him this high is quite controversial as he lacks reasoning aspects, despite his quality being high, quantity is very lacking. The only solution is to analyze him deep enough to extract all the required reasoning in his schemes.

Top 8: Kang Jinhyuk [ Solo Max Level Newbie ]

Character Type: Idk, Planning Merchant maybe

but most details in his schemes requires analysis to be extracted. Basically after every situation he reveals that he planned nearly everything.

Top 9: Ma Ki [ The Demon World I Designed ]

Character Type: Planning Merchant

Top 10: Ang Xiao [ Being A Talent In Chusheng Demon Sect ]

Colonel Timo is Extreme High Tier for me, and yes he did plan majority of Solo Max Level Newbie which carries his scaling so much.

The situations in the same tier aren't in any particularly strict order

I added some that weren't on the tierlist normally, those are:

-Defeating SCP-3125 (There is no Antimemetics Division/55555)

-Defeating Prosperity (Tenet)

-The 5 trials from Tetro Danganronpa Pink

The "Depends" tier is there for situations where it mostly depends on the character you put in there (For example a character who is evil would clear the hearts games in AiB with much more ease than a moral character or characters with better physical capabilities clearing the spades games with more ease) but also situations where it's difficulty changes depending on if you want to remove a certain factor from it (Like in Tetro Pink trial 5 if you were to remove Monomoko's hint that their deduction was wrong then the case jumps in difficulty MASSIVELY)

That's about it

I'm releasing this a bit earlier because I have some IRL stuff to do, so yeah

Also, the tiers are just in comparison with each other and not using the traditional low, mid, high scaling, so S would be high tier (-) and C would be low tier (+)

I believe it provides a more nuanced way of categorizing characters instead of the typical low tier, mid tier, high tier, and top tier. Now this post I will be showing some characters I scale in this system. These characters are not going to be in order and they are not all the characters I scale so don't get offended by a characters position. To clarify about who some characters are in order, the four at 9 stars are Supreme Administrator (Counterside), Shu Renjun (18LOH), Na Yubin (Counterside), and Chen Ran. At 7 stars is Sysop (Counterside). At 6 stars there is Di Wu Zhi Yi and Swan Claire (Counterside).

The Dazai in "bums" is SSC Ninja, not Dazai

The Jibril in "just retarded" is anime version

Before you attack, look, there's a trend of increasing smartness in tier lists based solely on ANHS and WR. That was the main idea behind this tier list.

Classes A–D are more about personality and proven ability (PA) than purely about intelligence. For example, if a character has good PA but is very self-centered (SC), they might be placed in Class D. Conversely, a character with low PA but a selfless personality might be placed in Class A. Or, in some cases, they're just bums.

Consider the class leaders and class representatives as duos or trios representing the four classes.
