Discussion Holding the Beauty Itself
Can't believe I'm holding this. The craze for this book is real. It came in the stock on Flipkart and went out of stock within minutes 🤧. It has a dent on the top left corner backside but yeah it's fine. I got it for 330 so I think it was a good deal and it's damn original. I'm just happy it's sooo beautiful.😭
Ps: Sorry for image quality my camera is shit

Horror Lived IT🎈🤡
I am reading IT by Stephen King. I was on the climax of this book and mosquito sat on the side of the book. I slapped it with intention of scaring it away, instead I got him. That slap left a bloodstain on the book. Such
a symbolic moment. I had goosebumps for a moment.
We all float here!!🎈🎈

Ask Indian Readers Need suggestions as someone who hasn’t read much fiction: which one should I pick?
I’m looking for a light comfortable and gripping book where I can feel glued to the story and get into fiction. I’ve only read non-fiction exclusively till date, so wanted to try fiction now.
I’m open to other suggestions as well matching the description above and if possible around 300-350 pages max (lower the better).

Ask Indian Readers Has anyone read this book by John Gray?
I have picked this book from a podcast. It talks about the behavior and other things about men and women. How men and women see relations differently, what they actually except from each other.
Happy to hear the reviews on this book and have a discussion.

Ask Indian Readers Looking for books that offer science-backed advice, techniques and practical steps for improving different aspects of life
Looking for books that offer practical, science-backed advice on things like sleep, health, motivation, discipline, stress, focus, memory, and longevity. I want to understand what actually works, why it works, and how to apply it in everyday life. Ideally, the books should be based on solid research, avoid exaggerated claims, and give me advice I can actually put into practice. Open to books that cover a range of topics or focus on just one.

Anyone who read Septology by Jon Fosse?
I’m having a bit of difficulty in appreciating and enjoying the book. Though it intrigues me, there are elements that seem odd and confuse me whether this is bad writing or extremely good writing. Would like to discuss it with someone who has read it or is reading it currently

Ask Indian Readers Suggestions for political books from both sides.
I have been getting more into politics recently, but don’t want to blindly pick sides being uniformed.
I tried finding some, but there are so many that i honestly got confused.
I would really appreciate some suggestions of books that come under political spectrum of both ideologies (left and right).
If anyone has any suggestion on where i should start, please do tell.

General Marginalia: Have you done it?
Hi, I recently came across this concept of marginalia, and I wanted to start it, but I've never written in my books before, and I was wondering how could I start doing this, what kind of marginalia do you write? What kind of instrument (pen/pencil/ink) do you use? Do we stick to words, short notes, or complete sentences?
It sounds like passing inheritance in thoughts, I'd like to leave my collection to my child/niece/nephew who ever reads, but I'd like my books to be readable too.
I'd love your opinions on it. TIA ✨️✌️

Ask Indian Readers Do you think Rumi might have been bisexual? Is there any historical evidence?
Hey, fellow readers!
I've been reading Rumi since around 2022 and have read around five books related to his life and philosophy, including Elif Shafak's The Forty Rules of Love. It made me curious to explore his actual writings, particularly the Divan-e Shams and the Masnavi.
I've often wondered whether Rumi might have experienced attraction to men, especially given the intensity of his relationship with Shams Tabrizi and the way he writes about love, longing, and the beloved.
Of course, I'm aware that applying modern labels like bisexual to a 13th-century Persian mystic can be historically complicated. I'm not assuming that their relationship was necessarily romantic or sexual, but I'm curious about what we actually know.
Are there any credible historical sources or scholarly interpretations suggesting that Rumi experienced same-sex desire? Or is this largely a modern reading of his poetry and relationship with Shams?
I'd love to hear from people who've studied his life or read his original Persian poetry. Also, any recommendations for good translations of his actual works would be appreciated!
