At first sight, the praying figures seemed imbued with a sacred aura. But a second look gave the statues a different resonance. It eventually became clear those figures were emptied souls, and behind those praying hands were nothing but exoskeletons, void of life.

Walking among these ruins, the wanderer felt like traversing a distant reality faded into a crumbling dream.
Despite the initial uncertainty, eventually the very nature of the environment revealed itself and the observer realized instead of being the witness of decay, they were seeing the everlasting presence of Life, the very substance weaving and keeping these remains together through eons.
Something bigger was still at work here and these towering relics still standing strong were the very proof of it.

In the middle of the sereine and structured forest of pillars it stood. A one of a kind, unique and singular being. Maybe a cocoon, or a shell, connected to the organisms surrounding it, either to use them, or be used by them.

A new time had come.
The observer decided to turn his back on an era, leaving the past behind. He couldn't say what good or bad the horizon may hold, so be it.
This shift in his mindset made the whole world around him feel alien, but he wouldn't stop moving forward, whatever may come his way.
