Following Pope Urban II’s famous call to reclaim the Holy Land at the Council of Clermont in 1095, Peter took to the countryside. Riding from village to village on a donkey, his fiery, apocalyptic preaching quickly ignited the People's Crusade (or the Crusade of the Poor).
Unlike the official armies of armored knights organized by European nobility, Peter gathered a massive, undisciplined force estimated at 20,000 to 40,000 people largely composed of impoverished peasants, women, and children.
As Peter’s unruly army marched across Europe toward Constantinople, parts of his faction, alongside other crusader bands, engaged in brutal, unprovoked pogroms against Jewish communities in cities like Cologne, Mainz, and Worms.
On October 21, 1096, they were completely decimated at the Battle of Civetot. Peter survived only because he had temporarily returned to Constantinople to secure supplies.
The Crusader army faced extreme famine, disease, and heavy casualties while besieging the city of Antioch, leading widespread desperation and desertions across the ranks
As a prominent spiritual leader of the Crusade who had previously led the People's Crusade, Peter himself slipped out of the camp to try to escape the misery.
Peter was caught and brought back to the camp—famously by Tancred or under orders from the crusader leadership—which severely damaged his initial glowing reputation among the chroniclers and troops. Though he would later be redeemed and continues to serve the latin forces untip their capture of Jerusalem in 1099

Prior to his death, Northrop employees working on the Black Project "Aurora" were able to get Jack Northrop clearance to see the aircraft. Aurora would then become what we now know as the B-2 Bomber. Jack Northrop would pass away shortly after in 1981. Seeing the B-2 reportedly meant a lot to Jack Northrop, who's company had designed both the YB-35 and YB-49 flying wing prototype bombers in the 1940s and 1950s.

Submarine M2 was one of 3 M-Class submarines. M2 was outfitted with a small hanger which could fit a small biplane that could be launched from the deck after its wings were unfolded.
On the 26. January 1932 Submarine M2 was out on a training exercise. The last transmission received was at 10:11 reporting that they would perform a dive at 10:30.
The merchant ship Tynesider, would later witness the submarine diving stern first into the water.
After reaching port and not realizing the significance of this, the captain casually asked the harbourmaster if it was normal for submarines to dive backwards. It was not.
After the wreckage was found 8 days later, it was discovered that the hangar doors were open with the aircraft still inside.
It is believed that either the crew opened the hangar doors too soon while there was still water on deck or that the stern hydroplanes failed, which would have caused the stern to move downward, allowing water to enter through the open hangar doors.
Interestingly, the M-Class of submarine, is a refit of the notorious K-Class of submarine. Which was known for being incredibly uncomfortable and unsafe. Out of 18 built, 6 would be lost during accidents. Only one K-Class submarine would ever engage an enemy, hitting a submarine amidships but it's torpedo failed to detonate.
Several K-Class submarines would also partake in the infamous Battle of May Island. An accident where a series of collisions caused the sinking of 2 and the damaging of 4 K-Class submarines as well as damage to one scout cruiser.
Edit: I made a mistake, the M-Class is not a retrofit of the K-Class, the last K-Class submarines (K18-K21) were canceled and they used the same allocation to instead build the M-Class. Only 2 out of the 3 ordered M-Class subs were built.

Emperor Hadrian killed 580 000 Jews when they revolted against him, destroyed their temple, burned their holy texts, killed all their scholars, started the 3rd Jewish diaspora and renamed Judea to Syria-Palestine to erase any jewish connection to the province.

Technically yeah, but they weren’t literally shooting each other on the opposite sides of the Trenches...still a cool coincidence though.
