I created this app so I can come up with ideas on the go. I made a pretty cool beat while waiting for a bus yesterday. It has a sampler that lets you chop up samples to pads, or record or upload your own samples. It has 300 samples built in, and it has premade styles that can help you get started.
I will be making a tutorial video later today. I will upload to show how the basic functions work and make a quick song with chopped vocal sample.

Lately, I've been working on creating my own drum one-shots for hip-hop and boom bap.
My workflow involves layering different drum samples together, with each sound contributing something unique to the final result. For example, I might combine several snares and percussion sounds to create a completely new snare that sounds very different from any of the original samples. I also process the sounds to achieve the specific character I'm looking for.
The problem is that the samples I use come from a free sample library I downloaded several months ago. Unfortunately, I can't remember where I downloaded it, and I haven't been able to find the original library or its license.
I'm unsure whether the license allows me to use these samples to create my own drum pack for commercial purposes, especially when the sounds are heavily layered and processed.
What would you recommend I do in this situation? Is there any way I could legally sell my finished one-shots, or would I need to find the original license or replace the source samples with sounds I have permission to redistribute?
I'd really appreciate any advice from people with experience in sample pack creation, sound design, or sample licensing. Thanks!

hey all. afugazi here, we're a small team that makes plug-ins for producers.
we used to make our 808 subs wide the clunky way: a convolution reverb with an l/r impulse file on the 808. it worked, but it was a hassle every time. so we built a plug-in that does it in one step, and we're giving it away. no account, no email.
it's called stereo sub. put it on the 808 and the sub goes stereo. the right side runs 90 degrees behind the left, so nothing cancels when a phone or a club plays it in mono. it's about 3 db quieter there, never gone.
vst3 + au on mac, vst3 on windows. download link in the comments.
if you try it, tell us how it sits in your mix.
