Pretty sure GT7’s real purpose was to take photos all along lol

Caterham recently ended production of their popular 310 model, powered by the Ford 1.6L Sigma engine, and turned the last 25 ever built into the limited edition 310 Encore. These feature six colours inspired by songs (don't ask, don't know!), with contrasting Encore stripes.

I've tried to replicate all six versions accurately but photos of the real cars are hard to find and Caterham's own online brochure is full of inaccurate photoshopped images? Anyway, I hope you like them.

Colours in order of appearance: Blue Monday, Back In Black, White Noise, Orange Crush, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and Green Light.

Soon as I saw the current time trial leader improving his time to the point where the gold threshold time is the exact time I had before this run, I improved it enough for me to stay on the gold threshold

along side the bmw being reserved for december, one car i think that could appear is the RUF x gt tribute car that got unveiled earlier this year. but what else could possibly show up for december?

I have so many Evo VI Tommi Makinen Editions that I just unlocked the trophy for buying the same car 10 times. A few of the factory colors aren't in the game, so I had to use other paint chips or create close matches :

1. Passion Red
2. Canal Blue (not in the game)
3. Canal Blue (without the Tommi Makinen livery)
4. Scotia White
5. Pyrenees Black
6. Satellite Silver
7. Reims Blue (not in the game) (Evo VI GSR)
8. Scotia White (Evo VI RS)
9. An Evo VI TME Time Attack build
10. Passion Red in the Initial D anime style

I dropped 2.5M on all this, on top of making them actually drivable one by one with tuning parts.
They all have different license plates, and the anime version has a plate referencing Kyoichi Sudo from Initial D (originally 30-395 for the Evo III, here 65-395 for the Evo 6.5)
Some even have their weight stripped down and matched to their real-life counterparts (like the Scotia White RS, for example).
(Forgot to mention the Passion Red one with the Rally livery).

Fun historical fact:
Only the passion red came with the Special Coloring package stripes fromm the factory. It did exist on other colors, but the decals were bought as separate accessory kits from Mitsubishi and then fitted by dealers or the owners themselves (OEM) and the Evo VI RS was sold on steelies because most of the time it was used as a base for rally builds.

For this week’s project, we return to racing mode with this Jaguar GT3 concept. For the livery, I wanted to combine different pieces of heritage into one design. The purple base takes inspiration from Jaguar’s historic racing identity, while the Gulf elements bring in a second layer of classic motorsport influence.

The idea was simple, but the goal was clear: create something bold, aggressive, and instantly eye-catching on track. I wanted the car to carry a strong racing presence while still feeling clean and well balanced as a full concept. Honestly, I’m really happy with how this one turned out the combination of colours works perfectly, and the final result gives the Jaguar a unique and powerful character.

wonder if we can replicate these cars in GT7?

Man, I've been playing GT4 for a few weeks now, what an insanely good game. I mean the whole series obviously. I didn't have 4 so this is my first time playing it. I had 3 when the ps2 was out new. Also a great game, but man, 4 is soooo good. Part of it, for me, is the car line-up and time period for cars. I'm 41 so I was just out of high school when these cars were the newest of the new. And the heavy 80s and 90s lineup for me is so awesome. Especially the JDM stuff. It's perfection.

Anyway never had patience for GT endurance races as a youngin, but I did one the other night and I'm a third of the way into this one and I kinda love em now. (Of course I can partake in some vices while I play unlike when I was in my parents crib, that helps I'm sure)

Just wanted to show some love to an older staple in the series, one that has me completely immersed at the moment.

Watching the Carrera Cup over the weekend and saw this Herbie livery on the Porsche Cup car.

Herbie lives on in a Porsche. 🙂

I’ve been experimenting with trying to find the fastest fwd car to complete the last drag racing mission against the gtr but with a garage like this I don’t think any of these could beat it. What do you think would beat it as the fastest FWD car in gt7

Why are they braking there? What possible reason could there be, to brake YET AGAIN as they're approaching the corner exit... smh
