Discussion Anyone else tired of seeing youtube videos like these?

Post image
536 Upvotes

Every time I open youtube up this guy is recommended to me, all his videos are just “THIS IS THE WORST THING EVER”. Then he shills out for war thunder about 2 min into the video.

Is this content that people are consuming? Just angry people that think all new games are bad or just angry people?

I think so far this year every new game that has come out or showed a trailer this dude shits on, the new god of war, gears E-day, wolverine, battlefield from last year, and biowares issue going on he posts a thumbnail of the character people where using to slam the game.

I feel like I know who this guy makes his content for and its not people that play games.

Discussion Remember Suikoden?

Does anyone else remember Suikoden? This game really stuck with me over the years and I haven’t quite found another game quite like it. Also, if you know of similar games, let me know!

Discussion EuroGamer drama

When I originally saw EuroGamer gave PB0 a 3/5 score despite its metacritic being super high I originally thought nothing of it and dismissed it as an opinion, but after seeing their other scores doesn’t anybody else find this ridiculously suspicious? This isn’t even an opinion anymore, this looks to be intentionally being controversial for clicks. I am not fully educated on this, so what do you guys make of this?

What part of gaming looks like this?

Post image

I think it's the people who complain about getting all trophies/achievements in a game. Trophies are pretty arbitrary. They can make them literally anything, and if it seems unreasonable, it's because they did that on purpose. No one is making you do it. What are yours?

Discussion The average US gamer is 37 now, and among Boomer players there are more women than men. Some slides from the ESA’s 2026 report

Went through the ESA's 2026 Essential Facts report (YouGov surveyed 13,545 people in February) and made some slides.

The ones that got me: 212.3 million Americans play at least an hour a week, which is 67% of the country. The average player is 37, up from about 29 twenty years ago, and the ESA's CEO says more than half are 35 or older. Half of Boomers play weekly, and among Boomer players women outnumber men. 75% of parents play.

Phones are on top by a lot: 80% of players use one, vs 52% PC and 44% console. Puzzle is the top genre on phones and PC, but on console it's action.

Where do you mostly play?

Made on [Lobby](https://lobbygames.app/), where I rate my games:

Discussion More road warfare games?

I'm a huge fan of the mad max game and I haven't found a similar game to it, I mean the combination of on foot combat as well as car combat works , I know it's similar to the Arkham games in terms of hand to hand but it works, am I the only one who thinks there should be more games like it?

Discussion Motion sickness while gaming

Does anyone else get very bad motion sickness while gaming? This is very new AND weird to me because I NEVER get motion sick irl, but I can’t handle playing minecraft or no man’s sky for more than half an hour max. I’ve played minecraft for more than 10 years and it was fine up until 2 years ago. is this normal? it doesn’t happen when I play other games though!

For context I played a lot of other genres but nothing scratches my brain like open world, puzzle, rpg with beautiful story and combat system. Hence, why i love breath of the wild and cyberpunk so much. Can u guys please give me a recommendation? It doesnt have to be rpg, if you like other genre

EA officially closing BioWare and canceling the next Mass Effect after 30 years feels like the end of an era

It's actually over. EA officially confirmed that BioWare is shutting down its doors permanently, killing off any early development on the next Mass Effect along with it.

Knowing that the studio behind Mass Effect, Dragon Age, KOTOR, and Baldur's Gate won't exist anymore is a massive pill to swallow.

Even though things haven't been smooth sailing for them over the last decade, BioWare shaped what story-driven RPGs meant for so many of us growing up. The companion dynamics, the moral choices, the world-building... nobody really did it quite like prime BioWare.

Seeing a 30-year legacy get wrapped up in a brief blog post feels so cold.

What's your favorite BioWare memory or game that you'll end up replaying after hearing this?

Is their a game similar to this game that is shown.

I remember the game is about racing people ghost to get a better time than them with simple controls like taping the screen to accelerate the car.

The cars models look small and simple with game modes like pulling a trailer and getting a good time.

Please help me to find this game on Google play store.

Discussion Which video games do you think people will still be playing 100 years from now, if every game was limited to its original concept?

Imagine every video game ever made is stripped back to its original version. No sequels, no new mechanics, no additional features or gameplay improvements. The only thing allowed to evolve is the graphics, which can be updated to modern 2026 standards.
For example, Super Mario Bros. would retain the gameplay and mechanics of the original 1985 game, but with modern graphics. Mario Kart would count as a separate game because it has a fundamentally different concept, but it would also be restricted to its original 1992 version.
Essentially, we’re judging games purely on the strength and longevity of their original gameplay concepts, rather than everything they’ve added or improved over the years.
With those rules, which games do you genuinely believe people would still be playing in 2126?
