Following last night’s derby match, the statement made by our rival club — “Yavuz Hırsız ev sahibini bastırır"— has practically come to life. We are watching with dismay as attempts are made to compensate for results that could not be achieved on the pitch for years through baseless allegations and perception campaigns, and to have our players punished with disciplinary sanctions.

The attitude displayed by the opposing team from the moment they entered the stadium, the provocative gestures they made in the middle of the pitch before the opening whistle, and the provocations that continued throughout the match all took place in full view of everyone.

Moreover, although one of our opponents should have been sent off as early as the 10th minute, Kerem Aktürkoğlu began to provoke tensions as soon as he stepped onto the pitch. Despite also being at the center of the attack that took place after the match, he received only a yellow card. This is an injustice that cannot be accepted.

Archie Brown went beyond the unsporting, harsh, and unacceptable challenges he displayed throughout the match and physically assaulted our team captain, Abdülkerim Bardakcı. This is an extremely serious incident that has absolutely no place on a football pitch and tramples on all the values of sport. This disgraceful attack, which took place in full view of the entire sporting community, can in no way be excused.

Mert Hakan Yandaş’s aggressive behavior toward the security forces who were trying to maintain order and ensure safety further aggravated the seriousness of the incidents.

By ignoring all these facts and making allegations, they can only deceive their own supporters. No one should expect the Galatasaray community or the Turkish sporting public to fall for these attempts to manipulate public opinion.

Despite all the provocations they faced last night, we would especially like to congratulate our coaching staff and players for displaying the composure, dignity, and calm demeanor befitting Galatasaray.

We also have a message for our great Galatasaray supporters:

We must all continue to demonstrate the same level of composure, determination, and dignity in the face of any provocation we encounter, both on and off the pitch.

No provocation will distract us from our goals. We will continue to win on the pitch and maintain, off the pitch, the dignified conduct befitting the greatness of Galatasaray.

The noise will fade, but the facts will remain.

We have a culture and soul - that type of players have carried us up to now to this position. Torreira and Lemina are the typical examples. Lemina might not be the best midfielder in the world or even Turkey. But you know he will fight for it.

The way that they celebrate when one of them saves a ball on the line shows what type of people are they.

Leao on the other hand - I cannot believe a person who is walking around when all team defends on last minutes. He is not tired, for sure - he just chooses to walk.

And even if he dribbles all team and scores, I don't care. I don't need those kinds of players. Galatasaray has never benefited from them.

Our motto should not be CONCENTRATION. It should be DEDICATION.
