π¬ Discussion What's the biggest football debate after CR7-Messi? I'll start with:
My take: Pep Guardiola.
Reasons:
Has more influence on modern-day coaches like Kompany, Maresca, Fabregas
Has completely dominated in England, Germany and Spain during his time there.
Though he joined big clubs throughout his career, he didn't left the club in crisis or the club didn't become unstable after his departure.
I want to add more to this but can't think at this moment. You can definitely contribute to this.
What's your take on this one let's discuss!

π¬ Discussion π₯ FOOTBALL HOT TAKES MEGATHREAD π₯
Alright, time to get controversial.
Drop ONE football opinion you genuinely believe in that most fans would probably disagree with.
It can be about anything β a player, manager, club, tactics, transfers, football rules, Indian football, European footballβ¦ anything goes.
But thereβs one rule:
π Donβt just downvote because you disagree. Reply and tell them WHY theyβre wrong.
Keep the debates civil. No personal attacks or unnecessary fan wars.

π¬ Discussion Ballon d'or is a joke
Rankings is an absolute joke. And I'm not talking about Harry Kane winning it. Congratulations to him, that is well deserved. I'm talking about how Michael Olise is sitting in ninth place. Because imagine if I told you there was a player who was the top assister in their league, top assister in the Champions League, top assister in the World Cup, breaking the all-time season assist record, breaking PelΓ©'s World Cup assist record, scoring 26 goals in the process. You would think we're talking about a minimum top three contender, not a ninth place finish. Look who is in fifth position. Four places ahead of him. They actually put an MLS player four places above Olise purely for his performance for his national team. When these were the countries that he scored against in the 2025- 26 season. You can't be serious, guys. But will this Ballon d'Or prove to me is they only care about assists when it's Messi. Because this man broke every assist record while scoring 26 goals and no one even paid attention to it. That is the power that PR has in the Ballon d'Or. But at least they got first place correct. Harry Kane, 73 goals, a brilliant season and a deserved Ballon d'Or winner. But the fact Messi was fifth and Olise was ninth does kind of invalidate the whole trophy itself.

π¬ Discussion Should winning trophies matter that much for the Ballon dβOr?
Kylian MbappΓ© says the Ballon dβOr is an individual award and believes he can win it even after ending the season without a major trophy.
So hereβs the question:
If Player A has the best individual season in the world but wins ZERO major trophies, while Player B has slightly worse numbers but wins the Champions League/World Cup β who deserves the Ballon dβOr? π
And where do you draw the line between individual brilliance and team success?
Drop your reasoning, not just a player name π

π¬ Discussion I SUBBED OFF RONALDO BECAUSE WE NEEDED TO WIN π³π₯
Ange Postecoglou explained his decision to substitute Cristiano Ronaldo at halftime after Al-Nassrβs dramatic comeback against Al-Ettifaq. π£οΈ
βWe needed to win. The defenders were putting a lot of attention on him, so I spoke to Cristiano at halftime and explained my reasons.
He always wants to help the team in every possible way. Heβs extremely professional, and Iβm very happy to coach him.
Thereβs no injury concern. It was purely a tactical decision.
Sometimes you have to make difficult decisions for the team, even when youβre taking off a player who can change a game at any moment.
He understood it. Thatβs the type of mentality he has.
Now we focus on the next game.β ππ₯
Ronaldo was reportedly frustrated by the decision, but Postecoglou insisted there was no injury issue and that the substitution was purely tactical.
Al-Nassr eventually came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2. π³π₯
