AT&T internet down
Anyone have any information on when AT&T Internet might be back online?
I’ve tried navigating the website, the app, and the AI chat bot. ( funny enough the AI chatbot said “it couldn’t help me because the internet was down”)

Any Halloween Parties?
Hey I’m Coco. Just moved to Fayetteville about a month ago. I’m 22 years old and just trying to make new friends. Is there any Halloween parties going on or costume contests?

Dickson costume parties 👀
Hi y’all! Me and some friends are doing the Dickson thing on Halloween 🫠 I currently live in Bentonville so I’m not in the know that much anymore… but I have a KILLER costume this year, so do y’all know who (what bars) is/are putting on things like costume contests and what time?? I would love a plan rather than just trolling Dickson! I appreciate your comments!! 🖤

Lost dog?
Seen near wedington woods, she has a collar so I assumed she was someone's pet but shes really skinny and timid so I figured I'd check if shes lost

Anyone else notice that the leaves around here are immediately turning brown instead of colors before they fall? I started noticing it last year, which bums me out because fall is my favorite season.

Attorney
Looking for an attorney that will go up against a city government. I had a work comp claim for my injuries and everything was documented. I have been told that my former employer can hide behind work comp but they knew of the dangers at my workplace and ultimately resulted in my injuries. Looking for a lawyer that will represent me and go up against a city government.

For the music lovers
There is a local metal show coming up on 11/22 at terror tattoo in fort smith with 4 really great bands full of great people. If you're into that type of thing, come check it out. It's only $5 in advanced, $8 day of. I've included a picture of the flyer. It's a great mix of doom, thrash, sludge, death metal. If you're into slayer/megadeth/lambofgod/electricwizard, you'll have a great time. Starts at 7PM so it's not too late, and after the bands play, the headliner is doing a bit of an after party to listen to their new album.
If you go to the event page on Facebook, there are links to hear what the bands sound like in the discussion section. Guaranteed to be a good time and everyone is welcome. You can get tickets from any of the bands if you message them on Facebook or from the venue. Savage Spawn is local to NWA. YES PHYSICAL TICKETS!!!
You may find yourself a new circle of friends or your new favorite local band. Everyone needs an excuse to get out of the house nowadays. This could be yours. If you have any friends that are into this type of music please share this with them.

Huge Road Kill
Yesterday, while I was traveling into Fayetteville on what I believe was Highway 45—I am not from this area—I noticed a very large animal on the side of the road before reaching Goshen. At first glance, I thought it might have been a black bear. However, it had legs sticking up that appeared to be hooves. I am wondering if anyone else has seen it or knows what it could have been. While I was leaving town, I wanted to stop and take a photo, but it was too dark and there was nowhere for me to pull over. I felt a bit disappointed because I was really curious about what it was. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could assist me in satisfying my curiosity.

RIP unnecessary new Cronuts location?
This sub has been pretty interested in the anticipated new Cronuts location opening at 15th and S. School. I noticed a new for sale sign today at the property. So I guess we’re back to square one on our speculations about what’s happening there.

Jobs
Looking for some job opportunities to make some better pay and more stability.
I feel like job search engines aren't working so I figured I'd shoot something into the void of Reddit.
I have 4 years coffee experience at local coffee shops, banking experience, and a bit of silversmithing skills.
I would love to work on my photography skills, however, I feel like that field could potentially be overly saturated. If anyone has any suggestions for jobs in the area worth getting into or pivots in career lmk.

Some thoughts while early voting is underway
If you’re in North Fayetteville (around the mall and lake), there’s a competitive State Rep seat, vote for Jamie Atkinson. The Republican Steve Unger sponsored a bill to pass the utility cost for data centers onto us.
If you’re in west Fayetteville (west of Rupple, north of Wedington), you have a competitive JP seat: vote for AnneDella Hines. She’s fighting the illegal dirt mines that tear up our infrastructure and green space. The incumbent Republican Charles Dean is a pro dirt pit guy.
If you’re in west Fayetteville (west of the interstate, south of Wedington), you have a competitive JP seat. Vote for Diane Bryant. The incumbent Republican is an asshole who hates immigrants and thinks people held in jail before they’re convicted of anything are subhuman

What’s up with these low flying planes today?
I think it might be the same plane just running a pattern, but flying really low and at an angle.

Gear 'n Beer used outdoor gear swap at Crisis Brewing Oct 25
There's a used outdoor gear/apparel swap at Crisis this Sunday from 2-6!
If you've got used gear looking for a new home, it's free to table at, and if you're looking for deals on gear and/or enjoy local brews, it's a fun way to spend the afternoon. Think of it like a community garage sale for outdoor gear.
