Saw this article from PageSix discussing the recent spate of fashion covers shot by Hungarian photographer, Szilveszter Makó, which this sub (and fashion-related social media content in general) has extensively remarked upon lately.

A few of the article's interesting considerations (imo):

Did Balenciaga lend the same dress to everyone? (😂)

The pale teal Balenciaga feather couture dress is featured on both Hadid's Vogue cover as well as in Ortega's WSJ shoot

Why/how has Vogue fallen behind from its leader-of-the-pack role to being among the last of the recently Makó-shot covers to drop?

Is the long-standing fashion magazine preference for maintaining "photographer exclusivity" becoming a thing of the past?

What do you think about the numerous uses of the same photographer and his specific style flooding so many covers in this short amount of time? Personally, I think it dilutes the otherwise unique effect of each of these shoots, had they been spaced more thoughtfully.
