Do NFL teams need to see more in college from Moore?
Need? No. Prefer? Yeah, probably, especially as he’ll now likely be coming off a season-ending head injury.
Moore has started a combined 19 games for the Ducks over the past two seasons, which is plenty for NFL scouts to understand his skill set and the strengths/weaknesses he’d bring to an organization. He finished those 19 starts with 41 total touchdowns and plenty of highlights that elevated the talent around him.
Scouts like that Moore is a natural thrower of the football, with a rhythmic operation that helps him layer the ball or attack tight windows. I wanted to see him improve in 2026 when asked to negotiate pressure, but there won’t be a ton of tape to dissect — he played in just three-plus games before suffering that injury, and one of those was an 84-0 blowout win over Portland State.
Moore, 21, is still a young player, and it shows, especially when he feels the heat. — Dane Brugler, NFL Draft analyst
What would Moore’s draft stock be if he joins the 2027 class?
Right now, it is impossible to accurately gauge Moore’s draft status.
Had he declared last year, it’s generally believed he would have been a top-10 pick, likely at No. 2 to the New York Jets. But the concussion he’s dealing with and any subsequent recovery are now part of his evaluation.
