This is my 4th time modding the TMR stick and left stick is showing hard left.
First I thought it was fixable by calibrating, but dualsense calibration gui says I should first let the stick return to center, meaning it’s reading as if I’m pushing the stick as of the moment.

I thought it could be a soldering issue so I’ve took a photo.
Previous posts said sharing photo helps.
Flashlight makes it hard to read so I took another without one.
I can’t share the image of the other side as the stick is installed.

Can you guys spot any permanent damage I cause to the board beyond repair?
Or could this be this specific stick’s issue that can be simply fixed by changing to another tmr sensor ai have?

So my first time soldering trying to do a tmr stick replacement, everything worked well when I tested it with just the first one after I put the second one pressing down to do r3 or l3 makes my sticks basically move like it’s moving to the bottom right, any suggestions on what should I try or did I mess up with the motherboard and I should get a new board

Decided to replace the rear shell with extreme shell replacements (before it goes all yellow and grips start coming off) . It comes with the front shell as well which I changed

Other changes include tmr modules (kept the OG housing … three screws and just pop the motherboard in). Also got replacement thumb sticks with the silver edges around the stalks (looks so much nicer)

Ps: last pic … yes they were not kidding when they said becareful with the plastic pry tool

What might be the cause of this problem? I dropped my ps5 controller and the l2 is always holding even tho I'm not holding it. This happened after I dropped it

My favourite is probably the GTA-inspired one, but I’ve been experimenting with different colours and designs as well.

I run a small business selling upgraded and custom DualSense controllers, including TMR stick upgrades. I also offer a mail-in service if you’ve already got a controller and just want the TMRs fitted, so you don’t have to buy a whole new one. I am UK based so shipping is free if you live here, but I charge extra for shipping abroad

Always interested to hear what people think, especially if there are any colour combinations or designs you’d like to see next.

Which one would you go for?

I love the dualsense but I have a big issue, I keep on pressing the start button by accident, i don't know why, it seems the controller is too small for my hands and when my thumb push the triangle button it's on the start button too :/

Is there a way to desactivate the start button with a macro or something? just for pc, I don't own a ps5 anyway

Hi All. I already know I'm gonna sound stupid with this. After my Xbox controller kicked the bucket, I decided to try a PS5 controller. I purchased a new PS5 DualSense controller with the intention of using it on my iPad.

Out of the box, I set it to charge. When trying to turn it on, it flashes blue 6 times before turning off. Ive tried resetting it with the pinhole on the back.

1. I do NOT own a PS5

2. I have never used a PS5 controller before, so I'm really coming at this as a total newbie.

Any help would be much appreciated. I just can't figure out how to even get this thing to turn on.

I am trying to make a custom Fallout Rusted controller and came across this which looks amazing. But OP seems to have deleted their reddit and I can't find anyone else who has made similar designs hamd painted like this. Anyone able to help what material was used? Especially for the rusted parts. Thank you.

So am calibrating newly acquired TMR modules for my edge. The left stick calibrates fine and flicking the stick in any direction returns to center

The right stick is the issue (or not!?). If I flick the stick up right upper left and lower right it returns to centre … just flicking it down or lower left it is 0.2-0.3 off (as seen in the pic) … is it something that will improve with time? Or is this normal ?

I was about to order TMR sticks, but saw you need to solder them to calibrate it etc. How on earth do they sell 1k+ a month? I've never soldered in my life, are there that many people soldering their controllers?

Just received my K-Silver JS13 Pro+ TMR sticks and noticed a prong or two bent slightly.

Is this normal to just bend back and install without any worries?

Hi. I got a ps5 and a ps5 pro with about five controllers among them. One I think is v2, rest is v1. Three of them has stick drift, one has a battery life of a teenagers attention span at school.

So I have bought some TMR sticks (K-SILVER JS13 PRO+ according to the ad), probably not the best - but was before I realized it might be a reddit for people who care about this stuff. I got desoldering gun and all that, so installing it is no problem.

Anyway, my next issue is two fold, First as the topic suggest. while I'm tearing it apart I would like to upgrade the batteries. Can you guys reccomend me anything? If it has longer life than original, that would be great as well.

Outside of that, the sticks as in rubber and plastic are a bit worn. Is it a replacement that makes later replacement easier? Like give the abilities of the pro type of controllers for a vanilla one? And if not, what is the reccomended alternative?

Has anyone else had issues with their DualSense controllers not charging since the latest PS5 update?

Multiple controllers have suddenly stopped charging. They seem to receive power when plugged in, but there's no charging light and the PS5 shows an empty battery. They'll work briefly when plugged in, but eventually die even while connected.

I've tried multiple chargers and cables (including ones that previously worked), plugging directly into the PS5, resetting the controllers and checking firmware (all up to date). Nothing has helped.

Both controllers were working fine before the update.

Anyone else experiencing this, or found a fix?

I’m replacing one of my Dualsense edge joystick modules and wanted to get Magnetic/hall effect ones as the originals would suffer from drift no matter what. Has any of you tried these? They are supposedly assembled in California. Thanks

I bougth a dualsense just to feel the adaptive triggers on pc, also i changed the DSX version to the older versions and the same error appeared

Found it for less than 100$ brand new. But I don’t want to risk it if it’s fake. I would be happy if anyone knows:)

Just saw this video last night, and I must admit I never thought about it this way, but then I remember that I never knew what stick drift was till I got it on my DualSense and had to have the sticks changed to TMR, so could this have some truth in it?

So I have this problem on my DualSense Edge controller where sometimes my left bumper just sticks for a brief moment before coming back up. Sometimes it holds until I press it again, which is pretty annoying.

I've tried taking the bumper out and cleaning it using 99.9% isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth, but that didn't work. I also checked to see if the bubble thingy underneath was sticking, but it was perfectly fine.
