Any updates? Am hoping she is ok. This team can't afford for her to be out for any length of time.

Not that it matters but tons of Sun players are having themselves a playoff.

Shout out to Tiffany Hayes (who retired her way out of CT), Veronica Burton, and Kaila Charles on Valkyries, DB and Bri Jones on the Dream, and JJ on the Liberty.

Hi Sun Fans,

With the upcoming expansion draft the Sun have to protect 5 players. What do we think will happen? My two cents:

Locks:

Saniya Rivers,

Aneesah Morrow,

Leila Lacan

Likely:

Aaliyah Edwards (would Toronto make a deal to get a top Canadian W player)

up for debate: Tina vs Marina

I’d defer to Tina, if she wants to stay. if not protect Marina and trade her if she’s unhappy.

Toronto Tempo selections

First round: Julie Allemand, Nyara Sabally, Marina Mabrey, Aaliyah Nye, Lexi Held

Second round: Maria Kliundikova, Adja Kane, Nikolina Milic, Kitija Laksa, Kristy Wallace

Our own Terrika Foster-Brasby reports Britney Griner signing with the Sun!

Could be a long night at Mohegan versus A'ja and the champs, NO BG tonight (foot). Hope ONO and Edwards can stay out of foul trouble.

Looks like we just traded Jacy and are getting Aailyah Edwards. I really like Jacy, but I'm very excited about this trade!
ETA: The trade also includes a 2026 pick swap

Aw... 🥲

Olivia’s contract is 2 years. 735 and 700k.

Recently got into the WNBA. Since I’m a longtime UConn women fan and live in Connecticut, the Sun became my team. Fell in love with AT and DB and Dijonai. Ever since I started watching, all I hear is how no one wants to be in Connecticut, the practice facilities are nonexistent, the market is too small to attract anyone, etc… now with AT and Ty and probably DB gone, anyone got some hopium for the future? Or are we really in rebuild hell for a while? And even if that’s the case, do free agents ever even want to come here? lol. We were thinking of season tickets this year but have basically zero interest now.

A smart free agent signing Kennedy Burke formerly of the Liberty.
