Bought a used MC9 and this thing was not returning to battery randomly. The gun was clean, the coil seemed fine just random bang bang click. Im thinking dang did I just buy pos. I looked and looked. People are sending g their guns in, getting replacement springs...damn. Then I found an article how sometimes the burs on the slide can be just enough for it to not return to battery. I took apart my gun, felt up and down the edges with my finger. And right where the metal parts meet plastic there was a roughness. So I used a file and got it down smooth so when I rub my finger from metal to plastic, it was all smooth. That weekend I went to the range and not one click. All bang. The boy and I went through 200 rounds flawless not one issue. I love my MC9 mete. I love how easy I can conceal it in almost any outfit.

Well…. After purchasing another Caniik, I decided this Prime was gonna look different. Black, tan, silver, green, brown…. All the usual colors fill my gun safe & the corners of my house. I wanted this to be different. Told the gun shop guy (@ KRS), that I wanted white, blue and a few touches of copper/burnt bronze. Upon picking it up, I received something I wasn’t expecting. However the more I look at it, the more I love its uniqueness…(mind you, I’m 6’3”, 285#, and considering making this my new EDC). First words outta my wife’s mouth when seeing it, “that’s the color of my Tiffany’s necklace.” Just like that, it earned its nickname….Tiffany!!!!

This is my main EDC daily/nightly driver. I absolutely love it. There's been a lot of speculation about what Canik will be doing next. And with SS27 a few months away, I for one hope to god that Canik jumps on this "26x size" trend. I would LOVE to see an Elite SC with a 15 round grip, but a Mete version. Yes, I know the MC9 line exists and I have a Prime. Love it. But it lacks that thickness, that "meat". Imagine the Elite SC with a Mete frame and hardware, Mete rmsc direct mount cut, 15 round grip, optional magwell, Prime grip texture up to the slide lock, and then a Pro version with slide cuts, stainless threaded barrel, and a Rival trigger. Canik, please.

I got the grey/bronze Prime Radian recently, and I'm looking to get a holster for it (strong side, not appendix.... huge midsection). I've looked at Hilliker and their brown washers look close enough, but I feel like that Coyote Brown Topographic Black color is too far off.

Does anyone have a holster that matches the bronze fairly closely? Bonus points for pics. If I can't get close enough I feel like I need to just go with something funky.

i’ve been wanting to get a suppressor for mine and this one kind of caught my eye also being that I can use it also on my 45. I tried YouTube videos, they always just say the best things and are sometimes bias. I was wondering if anybody’s ever used one of these on an mete SFT or even another canik that’s kind of similar to an SFT and how well did it work

Will the prime Radian fit in the MC9 Prime WTP Holster? And is the holster a Subcompact or Compact need to know for the foam pad

Just got the Prime Radian about a month ago and I also have the O.G. Prime. On the OG I have a Taylor Freelance brass backstrap and the Hurley Welding aluminum magwell(the newest one). To me, that feels head and shoulders better than the Radian backstrap and magwell. I'm thinking of replacing them with the Taylor Freelance and HWW. Anybody else out there thinking about it. I'm not looking for acceptance, I can make up my own mind. Just wondering if anybody else was mulling this over.

He competes in Limited Optics with his Canik SFx Rival and was classified as a C 2 weeks ago. Don't mind the shirt. It was a just a giveaway from a sales event at a LGS. Can't believe he chose to wear it today.

New republican 124g with zero issues at all. Tried some ammo I got at a local shop a long time ago that my Glocks eat and I had a few light primer strikes. Swapped back to new republican and blazer brass and have no issues so I’m gonna chalk that up as ammo related. I don’t remember the name of the ammo I tossed the box and forgot. She’s definetly a good shooting gun, very flat. It will be going in my edc rotation.

Everyone asks how does it shoot ported? These were my first shots without it being zeroed. I honestly don't have the words to explain it. It's amazingly soft flat and accurate (guess I do have some words). It's one of those experiences you want everyone to experience. It's fkn crazy.

Had the local FFL source one as soon as I saw this was being released. Flat face canik trigger and threaded barrel going in as we speak. This one will be a safe queen 🙂

So I’ve been building out a belt, and I already have a Hilliker A2 on it for my Prime but I’ve been considering getting a holster with some kind of active retention. Anybody running a “duty” styled holster on a light bearing Prime?

Some of y’all are anxious waiting for your Prime Radians to come back from Century Arms. Here’s my experience to give you some hope.

I had over 15 failures to return to battery within first 750 rounds (broken up into 2 range trips) with my Prime Radian brand new from the factory. Yes I cleaned it very well and kept it well oiled. I’ve only used 124 grain 9mm with it and I don’t ride the slide or have limp wrists.

So here’s what I did:
- 8/4/2026: Submitted a warranty repair ticket with Canik
- 8/6/2026: After some back and forth with customer support, I was given a RAN number and the shipping information
- 8/8/2026: Packed up my gun and mailed with through FedEx
- 9/18/2026: Sent an email over to Century Arms to get an update, they answered same day saying the gun was currently with their gunsmiths. They also notified me that they received the gun on 8/14/2026
- 9/29/2026 After all their tests, the gunsmiths replaced the barrel and recoil spring. They cleaned it and sent it back to me. I received it somewhere in the first week of October. This makes about 9 weeks of me sending it over and getting it back to my door, not accounting for shipping time, it was about their estimated 8 weeks.
- 10/25/26 I finally cleaned, oiled it myself, and took it to the range. I could tell the recoil spring seemed new and stiff. I shot 200 rounds without a single problem. I love my Caniks but for the price of this gun, it should’ve ran like this new from the factory. That being said it works now so I can finally use it.

Word of warning to the lazy. If you are meticulous in your gun cleaning, removing and cleaning this comp takes some time so if you are lazy or don’t want extra cleaning steps, go for the MC9 Prime.

Purchased earlier in the week.. added an EPS carry.

Shot about 500 rnds this evening to break it in.. flawless... Smooth shooter.

Ran a few mags through the MC9L with the Prime Radian slide on it to help break it in. Wish they would do Prime versions for all the models.

I bought the canik mete SF ONE series a few weeks ago, put about 450 rounds through it so far. This thing is awesome, I've never felt a gun that shoots so flat.
