Won convincingly, 500 yards of offense, still felt like we left a ton on the table.

Is this what being an OSU fan feels like?

The big test will be the next three weeks, if we win two of three and finish the season strong we have a serious shot at the playoffs.

I know it was Rutgers, but when are we going to stop pretending that this isn't a really fucking good Northwestern team?

Northwestern needs to fix their ticket pricing. Could easily have more fans in the seats instead they up their price by 100 bucks day of the game against rutgers

Woof…

…the time to Old Yeller Schiano in New Brunswick (again?) is less of an if and more of a when…

Good shit, only complaint is some soft run D in the second half.

Hopefully some of our defensive guys get healed up for this upcoming stretch.

Feels really good to take care of business as expected in these games.

But we really need the defense to get healthy to have any shot thru the next 3 weeks. Difference without Fitzgerald/DBs/DLine is palpable

I watched a bit Of this. Northwestern was dominating, not as close as the score

If you asked me what a realistic best case scenario was for this season heading into the Oregon game, this is pretty much it.

Wildcats are 6-1 so far on the season, pretty darn impressive to say the least. Next few weeks will tell us a lot about them and the current Big Ten landscape.

A few years ago this would have been a rock fight. This one looked like a very good team handling its business

Good momentum going into the back half of the season, especially this upcoming Oregon-Iowa-OSU run. Fingers crossed we can take at least 2 of those 3 and finish things out strong. Really proud of this team :)

The team has completely earned this 6-1 record and have looked great in the process too.

Now Braun needs to sit the team down and have everyone delete their social medias and lock in like they’ve never locked in before. The next 3 games more or less decide what this team wants this season to be.

I was a season ticket holder for 44 years and attended NU football for years prior to that. Like so many others I saw it all at Dyche / Ryan. Sadly I moved 1200 miles away and have periodically returned for individual games. And a multi time donor. When the " updated " ticket pricing arrived I thought it was a typo. Nope...but a huge mistake. Watching today's route of Rutgers the number of empty seats was sadly extremely visible. Marketing 101 defines the huge mistake or mistakes that were made with ticket pricing. Northwestern obviously has a very good team this year and the evolution of the football program over the past few years impressive. And the creation of an amazing coaching staff equally impressive. And now... How will this mistake andbit is a mistake be rectified?

Nice win - comfortable, if not always beautiful.

Eugene should be interesting - NU on the rise, Oregon faltering. But still, it's Oregon on the road, and I'd probably feel better if Oregon won today and wasn't in "refocus" mode. That said, I'm gonna go against my default "let's not get too far ahead of ourselves" tepid enthusiasm and predict NU gets to 7-1 on the road in Eugene next week. Go Cats!!
