It’s not even about winning at this point, it’s about developing the future. Might as well try and develop the QB with the higher upside. If Mendoza had been better than just OK I wouldn’t do it but there isn’t really much of an upside to keep riding with him.

What's the harm at this point. Cant blame the entire season on Mendoza but be hasn't been the competent qb we needed throughout these games. Albeit defense has been the entire reason we sre losing in such ridiculous fashion each week.

I knew after stanford that we were done for. Duke was an outlier. Giving up basically or more than 50 points on to BC is miserable. No shade towards BC but it showcases how bad our defense is. It is arguably one of the worst in college football.

Ifk how you fire Key because of his contract. I expect many players to hit the portal.

Losing to a team with Ted Roof in any on-field coaching capacity is untenable.
