Am I crazy, or have I never seen D3 football results getting posted on here?

It was always a rarity, but now I think it's tied to whether or not they're televised.

Bit of a jump scare to see us here, but at least we're the ones who won

It was Johnny Hopkins and Sloan Kettering, and they were blazin' that shit up everyday.

I believe the new rule is if there's only one game in a division then it gets a game thread

I thought this was a lesser known civil war battle being discussed in a history sub.

I imagine one bonus of playing for John Hopkins is that, if you get hurt, you will have NOTHING to worry about

Coincidentally, 40-14 was also the score at Pickett's Charge

The North went on to win almost all its games for the rest of the season

William Tecumseh Sherman was undefeated out of conference.

Just gonna hop in here to tell everybody to go visit Gettysburg if they get the chance. Fun small town and the battlefield is so cool to tour and walk around. Really a great experience.

This game felt in grasp late in the 4th, but then Gettysburg decided to throw it to JHU a bunch of times in a row. Also SMH so few sickos in the game thread....

As a fellow D3 athlete (or former ig), I felt sorry to not be able to watch it. 😔

You know the game is good when one of the teams in the thread picture doesn’t have a logo.

I was about to ask if I could get a flair, too.

Quaker Hopkins better than General Lee when it comes to winning and Gettysburg

Dearest Elizabeth

As I write to you after the most trying of ordeals I have yet to experience in our season. In our previous correspondences I talked to you about our offensive general, quarterback Bradley. I am sad to say that Bradley has fallen after many waves of attack by the Blue Jays. The loss is a devestating one to our unit. We will attempt to move on from this tragedy and I dearly hope our next letter is one of joy and not sorrow.

Fondest Wishes and Love Always
