Cory kept acting like a total psycho by sabotaging people, literally brainwashing half of John Adams High to reject Pennbrook just to emotionally blackmail Shawn into staying chained to his hip!
Cory swallowed his nonexistent dignity and went full stalker mode, dragging poor, innocent Jack out of a photography studio by his ankles because he couldn't stand the thought of Shawn having a cool life without him!
Cory had every right to just shut the fuck up and say "congratulations," but Cory kept howling like a stuck pig because Cory is a toxic emotional parasite who literally feeds off holding other people back.
Cory knows Topanga, Cory knows Shawn, Cory knows his friends have actual dreams, but he actively wants to crush them into dust just to keep them tied to his suffocating apron strings.

And how do his friends react to this absolute waste of carbon? They actually coddle him! Fucking Eric has to step in and wipe his nose, giving him a pep talk just to stop him from holding the entire friend group hostage like a domestic terrorist! What the fuck, Eric?
Cory's manipulative, whining, main-character syndrome corrupts every single happy moment, and Cory just fucking cries and pisses his pants until everyone bends the knee to his pathetic demands, what the fuck man?
Seriously, the emotional terrorism gets rewarded, not everybody could handle dealing with a whiny little bitch who treats a pirate-themed restaurant rebrand like the Holocaust while his girlfriend achieves true greatness.
Imagine getting into Yale or pursuing your dream photography career, minding your own fucking business, but Cory is sitting in the corner having a full-blown autistic screeching meltdown because the world doesn't revolve around his bedroom!
