For context:
My boyfriend was living at The Bellevue Crossing apartment complex. At the time it was owned by one company who sold it and immediately closed all multi family housing properties. The new manager at this complex no longer has access to the prior systems tenants’ info. He’s tried going up the ladder and is getting stonewalled.

It’s been since February.
He’s owed just over $2300
We have the corporate number to the previous company and it’s an old school generic voicemail. It goes absolutely nowhere and no one calls back.

Please help. I’m open to any advice and direction to help him get his money back. To make matters worse here, he speaks very little English.

I should add that we have their document showing how much they owe him.

The school district reported today an overwhelming preference of surveyed school families to reopen the school as soon as possible. District officials said will be closed for continued repairs through next week.

Trying to avoid Amazon when possible

If you cancel TDS, like I did today, know that you have to pay for the entire billing period no matter when in the cycle you cancel. I used 8 days of the 30 day billing cycle and still owe the full month’s bill.

Was super bummed I miss this weekend's show, but just saw their post that everything's on display for sale until 5:00 today! I'm headed there and thought I'd pass it on in case anyone else had fomo. Am not affiliated in any way with the show, so no skin in the game. Just an art lover who's been going to these shows for over a decade and bought, kept, and gifted some amazing pieces. Just sayin, the holidays are coming and art makes for an amazing and unique gift!

Dressed in combat style gear. I saw him at Silver Rail while taking flowers and the library. Does anyone know his story? When he walked by, some of us parents made eye contact and commented because it does inevitably trigger alarm bells.

Bend FD and EMS publicly report incidents so you can tell what’s going on and where. Sirens in a direction? You can find out where and why! Live dispatch also shows up as well, so radio fellas can listen along to calls going out.

And for those who are CPR certified, it’ll give you an alert when someone nearby needs CPR and EMS can’t get there first. It provides instructions as well to save a life even if you aren’t certified.

I find this app to be one of a few useful ones for living in Bend.

Hey ya'll, I'm so confused. Every single time I've been to this family-run place, it's 100% empty. Amazing lamb, super authentic Indian spices & food... especially for being in Bend (from my limited palate, though I did live in India for about a year). They've been open for awhile, they said. And yet the place on the corner (I forget the name, but some bland spot) is like a line out the door, reservations overflowing. And this place two doors down sits empty. Highly recommend! And also very curious to know if anyone has insider info about why this is so curiously empty. Would love to see them thrive. No idea how they pay rent.

you read that right. i was walking with a couple other people on Purcell blvd near Savannah dr (east side) on the sidewalk on the right side of the road, sometime around 9:30pm, and out of no where a white pickup truck drives up from behind us and goes OVER THE SIDEWALK AND VERY NEARLY HITS US BEFORE SPEEDING OFF. i wish i was kidding, but my friend walking behind me was mere inches from having his foot crushed. and it happened so fast, none of us could have reacted until it was too late, and we didn’t see it coming at all. i wish i’d gotten to see their license plates, but that was impossible. i’m assuming the driver was incredibly intoxicated, because otherwise i’d have to assume attempted murder.
there’s nothing to be done since i can’t know who it was, but everyone should be aware of the horribly careless people in the community.
