Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say the visuals and CGI aren't good or need to be updated by any means, I think it's important that the current version will always be out there to show the stand of time and how impressive it truly was. However watching Avatar 1 back in comparison to Avatar 2 & 3, you can definitely see that its more dated and less realistic. Less texture, some parts aren't as rendered. With that said, I would LOVE to see a "remastered" version of Avatar 1, hit the cinemas. With refreshed visuals similar to how we saw to the more recent films, graphics and maybe even some deleted scenes that gave more context to the story. They can do it for sure as it's just like when you re-render a videogame, its the same idea as it was made in the same way. I'm sure they still have that old footage saved. Although I'm not sure if they would ever do such a thing, however I believe that it would still make them a lot of profit given how loved the first movie is.

I am curious though, if this were to happen, would it need to be released as a "new" box office film or would it contribute to the earnings of the original "Avatar", bumping it back up to #1 on Box Office charts.

Long story short I'm writing about the latest Avatar movie for a film assignment and was wondering what kind of collaborations, advertising campaigns, additional content, interactive content etc. was done to promote the movie. Stuff like the DLC they did for Frontiers of Pandora and the snapchat filter.

This song has Avatar written all over it. I'm curious what sound they'll use for future installments. I still think Leona Lewis' I See You was the best song out of the three.

Tuktirey= bat eared fox
Why? A playful child with large ears fits right into Tuks description.

Tonowari= bison
Why? A fierce, strong protector of his pack.

Varang = Hyena
Why? Hyenas live in matriarchal societies where the female hyenas are leaders, Varang is a strong capable female leader who resembles a Hyena when she laughs in her pyromania. Varang is very persistent and once she wants something she will get it, Varang is overall unsettling, confrontational, social but untrustworthy, and she isn’t a lone predator. Something I could match with hyenas,

Ronal= orca
Why? As Hyenas, orcas live in matriarchal societies, but perhaps a little more peaceful and sparing to the male orcas. Ronal took care of Pril the last thing she did, mother orcas care deeply for their calves and will do anything to keep them alive.

Mo’at= Bonobo
Why? Mo’at is a strong tsahik, bonobos are matriarchal and the females show behavior such as stopping rape of other females and defending small baby bonobos, Mo’at is deeply caring and wise which fits a old wise bonobo female.

Eytukan= elephant
Why? Elephants are wise and old, Eytukan is wise and the longest reigning Olo’eyktan of the omaticaya until he died. He never quite got rid of the grudge against the sky people for killing his eldest daughter Sylwanin. He, such as elephants, holds grudges. He also protects his clan at any cost, which elephants do to protect their young and pack.

Tsu’tey= ibex
Why? Very protective of the ones he cares about, he is ready to fight anyone if his pride gets hurt. He isn’t afraid of conflict, much like a male sheep.

Lo’ak= leopard
Why? Lo’ak often feels isolated and misunderstood, leopards keep to themselves and doesn’t do packs like lions do.

Neteyam= red deer
Why? The perfect son, hunted for trophy and showing off.

Tsireya= dolphin
Why? Tsireya is a natural in the water and has a big smile.

Anoung= young wolf
Why? Wants to prove his worth to the clan, therefore acting as if he’s grown and all knowing. Much like a cocky young wolf.

Neytiri= tigress
Why? Tigresses are powerful, fiercely protective mothers who rely on their strength, instincts, and hunting skills to survive. Neytiri is an incredibly skilled hunter and warrior, agile and deadly when she needs to be, but her greatest strength is how fiercely she loves and protects her family. Like a tigress defending her cubs, Neytiri will risk everything to keep her children safe, even when facing an enemy much stronger than herself. She is also intensely territorial, suspicious of outsiders, and slow to forgive those who threaten her people. Beneath her fierce exterior, however, lies a deeply emotional woman who feels love, grief, and anger intensely.

Jake= lion
Why? Defends his family in need, his pack (the sullys) go first before anything, but he is often hard headed and will gladly fight another male lion to prove his worth or protect the pack. Letting Neytiri do all the emotional work with the children.

Quaritch= African wild dog
Why? Wild, unpredictable but also a genius at tracking down his prey, Jake sully.

Kiri= Owl
Why? An owl is mysterious and in their own world, much like Kiri.

Lyle= Wolverine
Why? Both Lyle and wolverines are violent and not hesitant to attack.

Z-Dog= phanter
Why? Strong, cool and elegant looking. Both Zhang and panthers have such in common.

Norm= golden retriever
Why? Happy to do any work, deeply infatuated with his friends and his family.

Max= meerkat
Why? Loyal to his pack, as seen in the first movie, helping out an imprisoned Jake sully, Dr. Grace Augustine and Norm Spellman

Roxto= seal
Why? Soft and sweet, he is kind to everyone and looks cute helping out.

unlike Jake who uses his military like way to discipline his boy, I wonder how the na’vi do it as they don’t come from a military background like Jake.

Aight family I’m not gonna lie this one was hyperreal. It was 2029 and to see the movie you had to put on VR goggles that were a mix of VR and traditional 3D glasses? It’s hard to describe. I don’t remember the bulk of the plot because I was asleep for 9 hours. But I remember Neytiri and Varang were taken down a separate storyline than Jake and Quaritch. Jake travelled to Pandora’s north pole to visit a Clan that lived on top of a frozen “ocean” that when you put an ear to the ground, noises like faraway bellows and otherworldly animal noises could be faintly heard. Kinda creepy. Anywayz Jake went there on foot because apparently the ice Clan had the “remedy” to fight against Mangkwan fire??????? idk gang. From the audience’s perspective, compared to the rest of Pandora, their environment looked bleak and blindingly white, but below the ice it was revealed that they were living on a wholeass wild, ancient ecosystem. There were volcanic vents that provided heat below the ice in a sorta “greenhouse” effect? And the vents travelled through gaps in the ice. The snow Na’vi built their huts around them for warmth. 👁️👄👁️ RDA had started drilling in a mountain a few miles away and apparently it shattered the surface, causing this underworld to claw its way out from under and I was like YOOO this is deadass horror wtf James Cameron

okay so then it switched to the ladiez. Neytiri and Varang were given HUMAN avatars (random dream logic lol) and they looked exactly liked Zoe Saldaña & Oona Chaplin. But with huge eyes and four fingers. They were scrappin and trying to kill each other in some city as soon as they recognized each other, rolling in mud n shit. But they stopped in the center of this hell dimension Times Square. The stopped hissing n shiet to look up at flashing signs, with all these obnoxious, loud, hyper-capitalist ads. In this poverty and chaos, it made Bridgehead look peaceful and clean in comparison LOL. They said something like “oh wow. this planet is actually dead and the creatures living on it are walking on a corpse” because their understanding of Pandora is that it’s literally Alive. so Earth feels like a corpse in comparison, with no heartbeat and only a resonant mechanical thrum, which subconsciously I think was inspired by data center noises lol.

Then I don’t remember anything else. I’m not saying this is what I want Avatar 4 to be, like I really don’t want it to end up this way. I’m just saying it’s what I saw in my dream 😅😂 stay blue every1

So we know about the feral viperwolves from Afop, so say if the party was exploring one of these abandoned labs and came across a pre-feral viperwolf (regular), and freed it could the viperwolf (for a lack of better term) be “tamed”?

I know they are intelligent and understand communication between lack members, but could one understand the that the party members freed it and want to keep it.

For context, the viperwolf was alone, its pack was either not found or some were found already feral.

My party is desperate to keep the little cutie but I don’t know what to tell them lol. I imagine the viperwolf would understand the party members freed it and its remaining pack has been eliminated but I want some second opinions.
