So I've been away from Audible for a while and just re-signed up with the current offer. In the past all the "original" content was included in the plan and you didn't have to use up any of your titles to listen to it. Now it looks like all their original content - even if it's only an hour and a half long - requires you to use one of your titles. Am I doing something wrong or is this how it is now?

Looking for a comedy/feel good listen with witty humor that has a male or mostly male narrator. It would be great if primarily romance but can be subplot

I've tried to listen to a few of the romcoms included in premium but it always seems like the males are some cocky/stubborn type and the female has to wring out his sensitive side. I'm looking for something where the guy is already genuinely nice, caring, or who likes reading etc

With the introduction of Kindle+ and Audible books included with some Kindle books I’ve seen my fair share of audiobooks narrated by virtual voice. I would assume virtual voice is much cheaper than hiring voice actors, but I can’t help but wonder if the book itself was written by AI in some form or fashion. I’m probably reading into it (pun intended) too much. What are your thoughts?

Problem is suddenly purchases are not accepted. And I was told we need USA billing address.

What has changed? Why is company saying something to use but not made change to not allow it?

I'm having a time trying to find a romance book that doesn't lose my interest. I've read ACOTAR, Nocticadia, Quicksilver, etc.....and I like those, a lot. The only issue is that they all follow the same romantic formula in a sense. Aloof, unreadable guy ends up falling for a girl despite not wanting to. Self conflict, and girl keeps wondering if said guy is hinting at attraction or not, and then they bang like 3/4 into the story. It's fine and all, but predictable. I need something different..something that is definitely a slow burn and spicy (4/5 on romanceio preferably) bit with a different...evolution of the relationship. Different altogether personalities that aren't a mind variation of common tropes. It also has to be on Audible and either a duet format, or graphic audio

The latest with trying to cancel audible is that it is saying my membership is through apple subscription, but my apple account has no record. I'm using the same email. I called apple, they said they see no subscription so they can't cancel. I called audible and they said it only shows that I am subscribed through apple so they can't cancel. I did see that a site said to check what my billing account charges it under ie, if it says apple.com/bill then it's being charged on apple. Mine says amzn.com/bill. Also the audible account is charging a card that isn't connected to my apple account. If anyone knows any tips pleasssse help.

I finished an Audible book a few weeks ago and every single time I get into my car, it automatically plays from the very beginning the preview of the same recommended book "Mad Mabel". Every single damn time. I have made sure multiple times that my continuous play is toggled off and that it doesn't play or preview recommended books, but it still is doing it. I can't get it to stop and my kids & I are getting so sick of it!! Help! I can't even remove the title because it's a preview!

Today I wanted to purchase extra credits and nothing happened. I tried several times on internet and in app.then I got avalanche of emails saying we couldn't place your order.

Try to blame my credit card xd

This is not my credit card nor setting in Amazon, audible. I used the car today ok, I purchased book in Kindle yesterday ok.

5 minute previews are useless. I've decided against more books than... wait I have yet to buy a book simply based on a short snippet of it. Well, I've done so at a bookshop but never via Audible.

A chapter is a tiny fraction of the book. I don't see what is the downside. Unless of course these 5 minute previews are used as entrapment than a... well... again... you can't really call it a sample, can you? It's more like an image of a sample. A thumbnail of a movie.

So yeah. Five minute samples are moronic. At least a chapter has a chance to engage you and raise interest. Five minute previews are just annoying. It's like a 50 p tip on a 500 dollar table.
