Finally sharing photos from my 30 Rock themed birthday party last year. I had originally planned this for 2020 for my 30th birthday, but Covid ruined that. So 5 years later, I finally made it happen--I can have it all! *said with a mouthful of Teamster sandwich*

The party included a sandwich bar, themed drinks, and Easter egg quotes throughout the house. I had a blast putting it together, even though most of my guests aren't the same level of 30 Rock fan as I am lol. Hope y'all enjoy it!

We usually call the pup beeper king, beeper, beep, and beep beep ribby ribby. Liz is our most exemplary of chickens, known for her comedic stylings and background in theater tech.

I always think it's delightful that she learned to hate the city I live in on the day my poor mother was cut open to bring me into the world

I've always known I'm Liz Lemon coded but this note from doctor's visit really drove it home. Next time I'll book with Dr. Spaceman.

Liz was supposed to be Lisa?? From the new Lorne Michaels exhibit at the Harry Ransom Center in Austin.

My favorite line from one of my favorite episodes

Tina Fey wrote an amazing female lead character in 30 Rock as Liz Lemon. Liz was relatable, smart, flawed and had the same insecurities as most people while having a fun and intense job on TV.

In another thread, I read that we have to suspend disbelief that Tina Fey is not attractive. Tina/Liz is very attractive when it comes to both brains and looks. I was stunned when I read that she used to be heavier and SNL didn't allow her to be on camera until she lost weight.

Thank you, Tina Fey and I will worship Liz Lemon forever. I see myself in you.
