The crash course would have to be:
They go back to the present (although they picked up a straggler from the future) and save Earth. The big bad in the subsequent season destroys a planet that belongs to a race of alien, sentient robots called Chronicoms. The team beats the big bad of the subsequent season. Coulson dies, then comes back as an interdenominational alien. May dies, briefly. “Coulson” dies again, but comes back as a LMD. FitzSimmons get separated again. And now those Chronicoms are jumping through time to change the timeline and prevent their planet from being destroyed, and SHIELD is trying to stop them.

Pretty sure that Fitz is dead and probably Jemma too. They’re both LMD’s now after years of working on the problem. They had their kid and made sure the timeline remained intact so Deke came into being.
Did you notice that Jemma refers to Fitz’s actions in the past tense? She clearly said in the previous episode recap that “Fitz CALLED them tides” vs “Fitz CALLS them tides”.

deke is from a lost timeline. his existence is not tied to his grandparents having children

Well, kinda? It’s unlikely he’s a clone.
But, his grandparents may have been an alternate timeline Fitz & Simmons not our Fitz & Simmons.

may's story looks like something about izel, which mentioned in some leaks, and some of the elements of it confirmed with first two episodes.

Why do I think AoS is a giant Grandfather paradox? I think the Enoch from Season 5 who sent the gang to the future is the same one who was in Season 6 with Fitz. He never went to the future time-line, saved the gang in 2019, got stuck in the past just to send the gang to the future time-line and repeat?

Super Soldier Sirum, Abraham Erskine and Red Skull are mentioned in this episode. The team started to find out the origin of the super soldier sirum that turned johann Schmidt to Red Skull.

Yeah the whole bullet to the gut then she’s fine thing was pretty weird but whatever. Also whatever happened to her? I can’t remember did they just dump her off somewhere or is she still tied up haha

Also they can’t do the change the past to change the future thing because it creates a giant plot hole when Simmons takes fitz from the past meaning he would never make it to the future to help save everybody so there’s either a plot hole or it’s sorta like mcu time travel.

The Freddy actor was giving major Grant Ward feels to me. Mostly with his face mannerisms. Anyone else feel that?
