Like I said before on other threads, Daryl is as dead as a dodo this season. He’s going to get whacked by someone (probably mick or ray)
There’s no way he can attack Ray for no reason, accuse Ray of being racist and commit so many crimes. He’s a dead man it’s only a matter of time.
Although I have to say the writing is so weak that it doesn’t make sense he attacked ray at all. Where’s the animosity there ? They had built up a rapport

Smitty
"This is where we had our wedding night."
This is where I saw my sweet bride cutting the heads off corpses with a chain saw. This is where we buried those cops we killed.
Such bittersweet memories...

"Damnit, people. I just need to get laid. What is this, Grand Central Station?
"You know, my place is a lot less crowded."
"Wasn't your Dad waiting in the living room last time I was there?"
hey... there he is again

I can't believe that they think having a dogged, determined cop chasing Ray AGAIN is at all interesting. WHO CARES? How many times do they need to run that same plot?

Holy shit!! What a great final few minutes. I was kind of hoping Ray was going to choke Darryl out. Kind of curious why Mick led Ray to be attacked by Darryl

It is the middle of the season. They need fillers. That's the only way to explain the absurdity.

That Darryl scene came out of nowhere. Ray has had this dudes back since he joined the fam. Got him job in Hollywood, which got him producers credits in a big movie.
Mick is the one who has been f’ing him over for years.

Hopefully Ray isn’t too upset when he wakes up. Although the bottle attack was a bit much, he kinda deserved it for his comments.
Darryl has to get over his feelings already. Can’t keep rehashing the same thing. Your brothers resented you for being the product of their father’s unfaithfulness. And some part of them always will. Boo hoo. Time to move on.
The detective is annoying. And apparently corrupt with this illegal detainment. And smitty shouldn’t be answering any of her irrelevant questions (What’s the next line of the song? Such nonsense).
Bridgette was once again entitled and bratty. Not enough words to describe her stupidity.
Terry is going to just drive in a zig zag all the way home instead of finding another solution huh? Interesting.

I do agree about the detective. She’s just not doing it for me. Kind of makes that part of the story weaker

Your brothers resented you for being the product of their father’s unfaithfulness.
Except they don't. As far back as I recall the brothers all accepted Daryl. He and Bunchie were pissed at each other last season when they went to Boston but the moment some guys started messing with Daryl Bunchie stood up.
Honestly I would have loved it if Bunchie took Daryl to that white supremacy meeting not understanding what kind of group it was.

I mean, I went to a concert because I wanted to see the opening bands. I didn't give a shit about the main act. Knowing lyrics has nothing to do with going to a show. A lot of things are forgivable in this show because of how entertaining it is, overall, but the detective trying to get a "gOtChA" moment with that was really dumb.
Still like this show because I feel it has a great atmosphere and violence for the sake of violence is pretty entertaining, but I wish they worked a little harder on the writing.
I think my biggest issues from the entire show has been mostly contained in this season:
Mick survives a massive fireball explosion
Terry decides out of nowhere that he wants to take his life
Bunchy goes on a convenience store robbery spree in the middle of NYC, full of cameras and witnesses in the middle of the afternoon
Mick, Sandy and Daryl kill an old man AND LEAVE HIS BODY AND MICK'S FINGERPRINTS ALL OVER THE ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
"wUt ArE tHe LyRiCs?"
And thankfully the Donovan's make sure to shoot people in deaf neighborhoods so they don't need to worry about anyone hearing the gunshots
Still love this show, don't get me wrong, but damn the writing has gone South(ie)
