I personally think funneling is boring. And I will continue to say that, no matter which particpant does do it. None of that changes the fact that the particpants are free to do whatever they want to do.

Funneling is also not foolproof, as Punz proved lol

That’s why the do more “feed the hot hand” as they call it

Exactly, full on funneling almost never works out, as you can’t always guarantee your “best” player is actually going to preform their best. Take Dreams team with F1nnster, Foolish, or Burren for example. All 3 times, an unexpected team member ended up arguably being responsible for the DB win.

It was funny when tommy was giving jack or tubbo the arrows cuz he doesn't want to, and H was like: NO 😡
(idk if it was funneling or not but it was pretty funny that H didn't want his team to pass the arrows to someone)

H was drunk so no bad vibes at all but I did think it was slightly inappropriate to force someone to shoot

I watched Dream’s pov last MCC. The moment they got on the field, his entire team was like “you’re shooting, dude; give your arrows to Dream, everyone!” In fact, Dream was insisting on other people having a turn as well, and almost had to force George to take a couple shots.
At the end of the day, these are competitive people. They want to win. And they’re willing to do what it takes to do that. I view it no different than a baseball team having a dedicated pitcher. It’s just part of the logistics.

Yea screw everyone's fun for more close dodgebolt, they want to win, and that's fun for them! Idk what they expect putting people who are really good at Minecraft in an event, wants them to do. Do bad..? No chance lol.. they aren't even breaking sweats most of the times

It would be different if dream and sapnap were demanding to funnel but their whole team agrees on it so I don’t gets what’s wrong lol

Funneling is based and more people should start using it if they want to win and stop complaining

If teams want to share arrows they can and if they want to funnel they can it’s really up to the team involved

funnelling may be boring from a viewer perspective, but if the team is competitive and everyone agrees then I don’t see an issue

Funneling is boring for some viewers. I enjoy watching it waaay more than the alternative.
Honestly, I think it adds a lot of interesting dynamics. Watching Foolish dominate in P22 DB felt better because he started the round as 3rd priority shooter, but got bumped up to 2nd mid-game due to his performance amazing performance (if memory serves, Burren and F1NN also got bumped up in shot priority in past DBs as well). The BBH db clutch in 24 felt more meaningful to me because Bad was bottom priority shooter, and had never even shot in DB before, but managed to secure the win anyway.
I dunno - I think having shot priority adds a lot more meaning to who's shooting and when.

Can I just say, forcing someone else to shoot in the name of "being fair" when they don't want to shoot is kind of mean. Let the people who actually want to shoot, shoot. It's not like any funnel user is hogging the arrows all the time, we heard more than one player call out that they want to shoot and the arrow is given to them. Honestly, funneling is the fairest strat imo

I think I can say that it’s a good strategy that works while also saying it’s not entertaining to watch for me as a viewer.

Funneling is a strategy used in a game. No one gets mad that Sapnap, Fruit, Quig etc. get full armour in Skybattle, or who the hunter is in Parkour Tag. Funneling is the same thing as those

This is the content I’m on this sub for, who cares about tier lists and team predictions?

As long as the whole team is fine with it then I don’t mind it.
