Episode Info: Oliver is shocked when he learns that Slade has come to Starling City. Back on the island, as Oliver, Slade and Sara prepare to take over the freighter from Ivo, Sara pulls Oliver aside and tells him he needs to kill Ivo to prevent him from telling Slade what happened with Shado. Oliver feels immense guilt over the situation but realizes Slade's growing rage from the Mirakuru makes him unpredictable and he could turn on his friends if he thinks Oliver is to blame. Oliver agrees to kill Ivo and the battle begins.Source: The CW

My best guess is the back of her is all we will see. Amanda will say something about how she's not being cooperative and still needs time before joining the team. Give us a tease for her character which they could use at a future date in time. Since casting her would have leaked somewhere imo by now if she was actually shown in the episode.

Because it leaves open too many questions he doesn't want asked which is what Slade is counting on. The story his family knows is that he was alone on the island. Saying Slade was there and wants revenge it opens up to him being with other people and also being a killer.

The only reason I'm still up is because I'm studying for my French test, and that sucks so much because I'm really tempted to watch my first live episode of Arrow rather then downloading it the day after (I'm Dutch.)
